ottomangrows Here We Go Again!
Last grow was my first time growing.
It was a huge learning curve, but I can vouch for Fast Buds genetics. I ended up settling on keeping it simple using only:
1. Canna A
2. Canna B
3 Cal Mag.
4. PH Down
At the end of harvest I ended up with 14 oz dry off of 5 plants, even after stunting two of them in the veg stage.
I'm headed into this grow with a lot more confidence and ready to see the results of adding PK/13.

ottomangrows 3 out of 4 seeds popped:
- 2 LSD 25
- 1 Zkittlez
I transferred the popped seeds into solos and put them in the tent. The unpopped seed will get a few more days to try, before I drop a new seed.
At this point, I'm using regular water and PH down to balance. I have not watered since germ day, and simply dropped the germed (and popped) peat pellets into PH balanced water in a solo cup prior to transplant.

ottomangrows After losing one unpopped seed from germination, I immediately started to Germ a new Zkittlez (#2) seed on Sunday 8/15/21 and it popped on Thursday 8/19/21. It still has a little seed hat, but that should drop any day. I transplanted the seedling into a solo and threw it in the tent.
I watered the rest of the seedlings two times this week (Wed and Sat.) They don't need much more at this stage. I also added Cal/Mag to the proper PH'ed water for this week's feeding. They are doing well!
LSD 25 #4 is leaning heavy, so I rotated it a bit throughout the week to let the plant seek the light. The new Zkittlez #2 is also stretching quite a bit. These issues will be an easy fix when I transplant into their final pots. Burying the root and inch or two deeper will resolve the stretching completely and give these ladies a solid foundation to grow.
This is my second grow and it feels MUCH better to have a clue about what I am doing. Less worry, less panic, MUCH LESS watering.
Looking good so far! They might be ready for their final transplant to their big-girl pots next week.
NOTE: I number my plants based on the number of times I've grown the specific strain. EXAMPLE: Zkittlez #1 - My first plant of the Zkittlez strain.

ottomangrows This was a big week for the girls:
3/4 got topped just above the 4th node.
3/4 were transplanted into their forever home (3 gallon pots.)
My baby Zkittlez perked up and is started to come along (1 week behind the other 3.)
Tomorrow, I am starting my automatic fertigation system to give the plants their first taste of nutrients on an auto-feed of once every 12 hours.
The humidity in the tent bumped from 50 to 65 almost instantly once I watered the coco coir to prep it for transplant. That's a good thing because I have been blasting my AC in the house to battle the 90 degree weather - tent humidity has hovered at 50%. These plants need some humidity and they will definitely get more once the fertigation system starts up and the drip buckets begin to fill.
I am grateful to have invested in a grow setup that I can COMPLETELY IGNORE for 7 days at a time... I have a camping trip planned and it is nice to travel without the need to find a plant sitter. Coco Coir and 20 gallon fertigation tank for the win!

ottomangrows Growing good this week.
Started easing the plants onto their Canna A/B diet at .5 ML per L, moving to 1 ML per L this week.
The final Zkittlez got topped and transplanted just fine. Looks like a strong plant.
The LSD 25 #3 is giving me some issues with discoloration. I am hoping that the bump to Canna A/B at 1 ML / L will fix any deficiencies.
I have been keeping the PH around 5.85 -6 (which is ideal for Coco) and using Caimagic, so I have a feeling it's just a hungry plant needing more nutes to stretch.

ottomangrows WOW are the LSD #25's STRETCHING. Already above my SCROG net. The Zkittlez on the other are are half the height and compact like a true Indica. Much smaller than I expected at this stage considering the advertised yield estimate from Fast Buds. We'll see the end result soon.
I LST'ed the LSD 25's and ended up breaking a main stem on LSD #4, at the point where I topped it. I taped the brand up in hopes it will weld, and make throw on super glue when the stem gets to maturity to hold up the buds. Crises averted for now.
I added a few pictures of my automatic fertigation system. It's super simple, but keeps my setup going for 7 days straight without any intervention. It's comprised of a 20 gallon nute tank, a water pump on a timer leading to water lines, and a web of water lines attached to irrigation rings. I have off valves at every plant for control over how many active lines I want in the tent. The plants are in fabric pots and sit on cooking grates hovering over 3 gallon buckets for run off.
I simply pump the runoff with a battery operated pump and dump it once a week, then add 20 gallons with nutes to the nute tank. The automatic timer waters them twice a day (Coco Coir) so the plants get all the nutes they need. It gives me a lot of peace of mind while travelling or working long days/week. Definitely worth the time and effort to build.
Once other update for the week... The tent is now seeing around 75% Relative Humidity. That's a good thing for vegetation, but will need to be addressed as we move into flowering over the next two weeks. I will be turning on my in-tent dehumidifier soon....
