Sour_Cherries I realized she was flowering in earnest late last week. I think I chopped off her initial stretch growth, not recognizing it for what it was. That may have delayed her progress. I was told to clone her by someone on Reddit since she's such an early flowerer. I took six clones. We will see what becomes of them. Ever since I realized she was in flower, I've been feeding her a mix of molasses, Flower Fuel, Jack's Bloom, and small amounts of Alaskan Fish Fertilizer. Sometimes I mix them together, sometimes I mix two or three. I typically feed her every 2 - 3 days. Water her every other day to every day, depending on the heat.
This girl has been through the ringer. She has had damage from hemp borer moths. I stopped spraying her with neem this week. I am spraying her with BT every 3 days. She was attacked pretty thoroughly by powdery mildew a couple weeks ago and we had nearly a week of rain after the mildew started. I sprayed her with neem pretty heavily last week (2nd week of flower?). I tried a milk solution early this week. It was too heavy on the milk (ratio of 1 part milk to 2 parts water) and left dried milk all over her. Her buds started to smell like sour milk, so I sprayed them with hydrogen peroxide and water to (hopefully) clean them off. I tried to wash off the leaves, but no luck. That milk is on there. I tried to brush it off with a paint brush. That kinda worked. My fingers did damage when I attempted to scrap off the leaves with my fingers. I'm leaving the leaves alone. Her buds still smell slightly of sour milk. They also smell pretty mild and sweet, which I think is her actual smell. Sprayed the other plants with a more dilute solution of milk to treat the PM (1 part milk to 6 or 7 parts water) and that worked much better.
Sour_Cherries Pink hairs showing up! Maybe weather-related? We’ve had a couple warm days (90) and cool nights (65) in a row. We're back to normal hot weather, and pink hairs have persisted, so maybe she'll keep them.
Smelling fruity, like grape jelly!
Feeding about every 2-3 days with some combo of molasses, jack’s, and Flower Fuel. I’ll do the seaweed extract every two weeks or do.
After feeding 2 T molasses, 1.5 T Jack's, and 1/4 tsp Flower Fuel on Wednesday, she looked like she had a little teeny bit of nute burn on Thursday. I'll wait till Sunday to feed again.
Smells so good and thickening up. Got a new toy - the phone microscope - and took a couple pics. Found a few areas of hemp borer rot. Cut those buds off. :(
Sour_Cherries Moved her indoors this week, mostly for the experience, but also because I want to keep her safe from the bugs and powdery mildew, which seems to keep cropping up. A few people on rollitup said she was re-vegging because of her three-fingered leaves. However, she's had those leaves since at least June 18th, and probably before. My other GC in the bag also has three-fingered leaves, as does my Sour Diesel. All are in flower, none are showing any signs of re-vegging. In fact, they're all showing signs of further flower development.
A few more trichomes have started showing up. I'm experimenting with the tent. I was glad to get her in, but now I'm like, maybe she should be outside. But, as she's been my experiment since the get-go, I suppose it's fitting to be using her as a guinea pig until the end.
