At the moment... The weather is kinda hot so trying to keep them cooler. Found a way to get the fan mounted out the way, hopefully, Should be good for first 5 weeks u top stretch! All 4 girls popped. 1 ran away from the paper towel and spent 2 hours searching for her!
Roots are doing great, plants growing very quick, trying to follow the right heights and giving them 60% power from the tsw2000. Algae has taken over the surface of the pots, that's what you get for storing the Coco in an out building. Going to put some CDs over the top to block the light and redress the top hence looking dry in the photos. But all in all very happy with these girls 11 days in.
They've been transplanted their first and only time and they've taken to their new pots really well. The one in the middle is West Coast OG and is a week behind the others. I don't think I've ever had the plants doing so well on week 3, fingers crossed. But a lot to be said about correct light height and strength. The most exciting weeks are yet to follow
Still trying to understand why clawing happening. I'm thinking the light was upped to 75% 18 inches from canopy and noticed significant clawing of other plants. After dropping the intensity back down again I saw an improvement. On previous grow was believed to be nutrients but couldn't adjust. Hopefully I've cracked the issue.
Two have started flowering and stretched a little while 2 others are getting very bushy and are a little behind in age. Since turning down the light a bit the plants are responding well. Overall extremely happy with these autos as they are doing the best that have ever done in this size pot. Might consider using a net to help keep branches all spaced out. Happy days!))
So these Royal Bluematic have been a joy to grow. Keep defoliating them to keep the bud sites in the light but they keep growing back so fast within a day. I never had such success with autos. Can't wait to see how the buds get bigger!)
I'm thinking 5 plants was a mistake but these have done much better than all previous grows. In future will stick to 4 or 3 max. The foliage is dense and keeps needing to be cut back a bit as many flower sites getting covered. Seem some curling on the new growth of 1 plant but not changing anything as all others seem fit and healthy and sometimes that one seems fine too. Could be it's position near the air inlet.
This could be my last grow sadly but I'm really loving doing it 😭 learned something new each time and my light intensity was the big cause for previous issues. That tsw2000 is a beast. The filter is a little overkill but the previous beginner filter was rubbish and a big issue so wanted to make sure it did the job.
Still wondering why one plant is so far behind the others. It got stunted somehow, however it's catching up in terms of size and has far more bud sites than others. The other tall stringy plants are getting so heavy that a net is needed to stop them falling over. They're no longer able to be taken out due to the weight of the buds already so will have to flush with a water pump as they sit in the tent.😅 Otherwise I'm really happy with them! Biggest plants to date for me due to light intensity being better. Thanks for reading!
Real struggle with space and one plant keeps trying to expand despite being heavily defoliated. Going to start flush on 2 girls so that the one at the front can stretch out and grow as it's very dense with many small bud sites trying to start. I should of taken off some stems early on but being an auto I just let it do its thing with minor lst. Smelling very strong!☺️🙏
Started flushing 2 of 4 plants as they're all finishing at different times. Other than this they're very healthy and looking nice and fat at the back. Need to give more space for the girl at the front who seems to be massively behind but with many bud sites. Unsure of she'll die before reaching maturity as I heard autos do that or will be the biggest yeilding plant of the lot!
Long and leggy but yeilded great results with dense buds all over. Very strong, stronger than claimed and packed with trichomes! Smells amazing when dry!!! I would definitely grow this strain again!
2 plants have been harvested with 60+90g dry. One close to flushing and another just wants to get wider and stay in early flower. Hoping to see a week of the buds thickening up on her 🙃
I've never had an auto stall so long but I can't complain as she's become massive! I hope she makes it safely through flower. Time will tell! Beginning flush on 3rd plant today.
