8-3-21
Soaked seeds in solo cups half full of bottled spring water for 16 hours before transferring to paper towel. making sure to tap and remove any air bubbles so they would sink.
8-4-21
Transferred to paper towel. Put on paper plate inside a gallon ziplock closed 3/4 of the way.
8-5-21
8:45am--All seeds have broke there shell, taproots barely showing.
7:30pm--planted all seeds into "seedling mix"(%40/40/20 perlite/peat/ffof). Squeezed the water out of the paper towel for the initial "setting" watering, used pH/vaped tap water in a spray bottle to moisten the rest of the substrate.
It has begun!!!
8-8-21
So they have all broke the surface and are officially plants! Yay!! Had to help two out of there shell, but they look unaffected and healthy. Put holes in the domes (sandwich baggies lol) to get a better air exchange but also keep humidity up.
Once the their first set of true leaves fully develop I'll take the domes off and get the room humidity up to around 65-70% keeping temps 73-78°.
8-10-21
I have removed there domes, all have the first set of true leaves and are growing fast.
The 2 gorilla glue(the first to break the surface) are kinda lanky. I moved my blurple light down from 22" to about 18" to try and compensate.
Will be turning on one big light soon, dimmed to "250 watt" and at about 36 inches.
8-16-21
Week 2 begins!! First if all I want to say I suck a light distancing with seedlings. I think I was way too far away (42"- dimmed to 200w), then I over compensated, got too close, and now they are fucking lanky lol. The nodal spacing is good now if was that first 3 days they shot up and got out of hand.
I think I've found the sweet spot at about 34" as there not stretching anymore. I'm going to incrementally turn up the 600w to full power over the next 3 days.
8-21-21
Transplanted to final containers (7 gallon fabric pot). They were just a little wet when transplanting and fell apart just a bit. They seem to be doing good, no drooping or leaning. Nothing indicating that the plants were shocked by the transplant.
8-22-21
Have local mushroom farmer testing some of his own "exhale bags", actually using a different fungus (instead of WineCap were using golden oyster). Should get the Co2 meter next week, see how much Co2 they generate.
8-23-21
They took the transplant very well, no stress whatsoever.
Training has begun! Thinking I'll go easy with the training, don't want to shock them.
8-25-21
So they are growing amazingly, they were straightened back out within 3 hours of the first bending. I went with less FFOF in the soil mix this time (around %35) and I think it made the difference. The plants seemed to root faster in the final pots, I'm wondering if my other plants were just a touch shocked from the higher amount of FFOF.
BTW I'm using the cotyledons as my feeding guide, will add nutrients(Dry Dr. Earth) when they begin to lighten in color.
Skunk #1 is the only one showing any discoloration on the cotyledons. Once they all show a bit of yellowing I'll top dress with Dr Earth/Jobe's Organics/Expert Gardener Organics.
8-27-21 day 19
Well they are starting to preflower!! Yay! They are looking good and growing fast!
My mycelium tub is starting to grow good so hopefully that will sustain then through the stretch stage.
Hopefully the number of days between pre-flower and start of actual flower are consistent, would be a good marker for amending before the stretch if needed.
9-1-21
The girls are doing great and I'm very happy with there growth so far. All 6 have been LST'd and are starting to level out. I think I should have trained a few days earlier but they will do just fine. Still kinda timid with them for fear of shocking them.
Running 1 of each on the next cycle so it will be a good back to back grow. Great for learning!
9-6-21
Well it's the beginning of week 5! Everything is going good, the plants look very healthy. They're growing fast and are really sending out those side branches. did some more LST today. Think I'm done training and gonna see what they do during stretch.
Turned on the second light, put both ballast at 400w- plants were getting wide.
9-9-21
So all 6 have started to flower, 30 days on the dot. Pretty good considering there are 3 different strains, the Skunks started about a day earlier. The Skunks also seem to be 2 different pheno's, one is short and stocky the other is about 2 times as tall.
I will be top dressing on the next watering (couple days) with Dr earth 444. The first set of true leaves are just starting to yellow a bit and I'm using that as my "feed me" indicator.
Getting 2 more mushroom buckets this weekend so should give be a good bump in Co2 just in time for the stretch!

Hey! So there all flowering, starting to stretch a bit. I think after this top dressing kicks in there going to grow real fast in the next week or so.
Gonna wait till the stretch is over, or right at the end of it, and change over to HPS bulbs.
Might have to install an AC unit sooner than later to have lower temps near the end of flower. SAVE THE TERPS!!
Edit: added a portable AC unit to the room, the temps with the lights at full blast were topping out at 87°F too hot!

Sorry been really busy, plants are doing great! There all stretching pretty good and the tangerine dreams have seemed to stop.
I will be top dressing this week with Dr earth flower girl, and 10% all purpose.
One of the skunks looks like it's gonna have some thick buds, already very keefy.
I will be dropping the temps slowly too a final temps around 70-76 at the end of flowering.

Calcium deficiency got them good, still growing but leaves guy messed up. I think it hit early and late enough so it can be corrected and not have a huge affect on the yields.
I top dressed with 75/35 Dr Earth flower girl/premium gold then watered in with bush doctor cal mag.
Should be the last feeding until harvest, the plants are otherwise doing great. They have almost completely filled the space.
With the ac installed I will be lowering temps roughly 2°f weekly until harvest with the goal to finish at 65°-74°F range for the last 2 weeks.

Sorry for the delay.
Well calcium definitely took it's toll. The leaves are trashed, I've since supplemented Fox Farm: Bush Doctor Cal-mag but it was little too late.
Good news is the buds themselves look great still, good formation, no discoloration. The skunks are starting to turn purple on some of the top colas.
One of the Gorilla Glue really makes me wish these weren't Autos as I would really like to do a full room of her clones. She is huge, twice the size of any other plant and longer flowering.
She looks too be about 3 weeks behind the rest of the plants although they all 6 began flowering within 3 days of each other.
Well I'll try and stay on top on the diary and make more regular updates

Took a taster bud, checked trichomes and there about 60/40 cloudy/clear with no ambers.
Feeling like it's gonna be another 3-4 weeks for all except the 2 Gorilla Glue, their most likely going to take another 4-6 weeks at least.
So far not too impressed with Autos, this is day 70 she with another 3 weeks to go we're now talking 90-100 days which I could easily get photos to grow in the same time period. Seems dumb when could run the lights 6 hours less a day and have the same yield.
Unless I get an amazing yield I'm going to do another Auto grow then probably stick with photos from then on.
