A lot of the information I entered for this week was just a guess, I don’t have a lot of information right now since they’re still in the dome. I got 2 of my Mataro Blue seeds to pop though. I haven’t really been watering them because they still seem wet. Compared to the Amnesia Haze seeds, that also popped, the Mataro Blue aren’t stretching as much which is cool.
This week I watered with a mixture of fluid acid, aloe Vera & yucca extract. I’m noticing new growth on the only 2 that popped out of the Mataro Blue seeds. So far they look healthy besides the lime green tent I’m getting from the larger one (it popped like 2-3 days before the other)
This weeks been easy besides the constant watering these little cups require. I’m just waiting on my 4th set of leaves so I can transplant these into there 1 gallon. I’m gonna do some IPM later on by misting the leaves with some EM-5 solution.
This week I IPMed with a solution of Neem Oil, AGSIL 16H & ThermX 70. I forgot to PH balance the water though before I drenched the leaves so I came back and drenched them with plain 5.8 PH purified bottled water. Otherwise, this week has been filled with watering every 1-2 days & observing. They’re growing fersure. It’s fun to watch, a lot more addicting than starting from clones. I also decided to transplant them into their 1 gallon pots. I added cover crop (white Dutch clover) & mulch (rice halls) too. Got them under the Gavita light now.
This week I sprayed my plants with tweetmint. I watered them 3 times since they’ve been in the pot. They’re growing , not that fast but they’re growing.
This week I did a compost tea which they really liked. I just watered them with water. Ph 6.3. They’re still growing slowly but I think l figured out why. I had a light coming off of my extension chord that was in the tent. I didn’t realize it till last night & thank goodness I did.
Today I transplanted these girls into their 5 gallon grass roots pots. I topped them off with build a soil craft blend, diatomaceous earth & white Dutch clover. Now Im just waiting to see how they adjust to their new pot.
This week they climbed about 7 inches. I’m in love with these girls. They’re a lot of fun to watch. They’re so uniform and wholesome I can’t stop staring at them. I just watered yesterday with just 6.3 ph water. I realized I was using too much veg fert. so I kept that out of my feeding for this week. I thought it said tbs instead of tsp so I was using way too much. They seem happy though so I think I’m ok. Other than that, I’m excited to see how much they grow this week.
This week I watered with just water, molasses & Epsom salts. I chose to add Epsom salts because I thought I was noticing a magnesium deficiency but it turns out it could be light burn. I chose to flip to flower today because they’ve been vegging for 8 weeks now. Im going to do a compost tea for my next feed. As for right now, I’m just sitting back watching them grow like I do every week. Not a lot of training this week just removed a couple leaves that were weak or blocking parts of the plants that should be receiving light. I love these girls though, they’ve been super chill & fun to grow. Im looking forward to seeing how they look once they start to bloom.
Day 7 of flowering & so far we’re off to a good start. They’ve grown 6” since last week so that’s almost an 1” a day. So far I’m still watering every other day with 1/2 gallon of water each-6.3 ph & that seems to be fine. I might have to start watering everyday here pretty soon though or I’ll have to increase the amount of water I give them each time I water. I’m having fun, I hope they are too.
This week I put up my scrog net. They’ve been stretching like crazy, it’s wild. I put lady bugs in the tent a couple days ago. So far, everything is going great.
Day 21 of flower & things are looking good. This weeks been filled with just watering and defoliating. I trimmed off most of the bottom leaves that weren’t getting any light/wasting nutrients. I didn’t do much though because they’re so pretty & I don’t want to take away from their natural beauty. I love these girls. They’ve been super chill & easy to work with.
I’m looking forward to seeing how much they grow this next week.
This weeks been fascinating. I’ve just been watching these girls stack up more and more everyday. I’m excited for this week because that’s usually the week when they really start to stack..or so I’ve heard. It’s been getting a little chilly at night so I gotta figure out what to do about that. I’d hate to bring a heater into the mix but if I have to I will.
This week I defoliated a lot of foliage including the leaves on my top colas. The more light the better is what I’m thinking. I discovered thrips on one of my plants (Runtz clone) so I laid down some diatomaceous earth & yellow sticky traps. Besides that, it’s been a good week full of stacks & layers.
This week they’ve been filling up. I’m noticing a little more crystallization but not that much. Not sure what’s going on there but they look beautiful.
This weeks been chill. I’ve just been flushing & watching these trichomes go from transparent to milky. I decided to go an extra week to make sure all the buds were complete then I’ll harvest this coming Saturday.
I enjoyed the high from this plant. It tastes sweet & clean. Growing organically was fun. Incorporating compost teas & top dressing was new for me but again, fun. This was an easy plant so no complaints. I trimmed one plant wet trim & the other dry trim.
