Can we have a diary metric for PPFD? Lights vary from type to type, brand to brand and sometimes even unit to unit. Light height while useful is not a good measure of performance. As there is very little consistency.

I’m not sure what the question is. But sounds like you need a PAR meter. Takes all the guess work out of what PPFD/PAR you’re smashing into the plant. There’s a phone app called “Photone” that uses your camera on your phone as a PAR meter. I can’t speak for its accuracy or performance. Though it’s a more affordable option and I hear people have acceptable results. The more expensive accurate option is to get an Apogee MQ-500. It’s a great PAR meter and it works. But helli expensive. Though I set my height. Put the sensor at canopy level dial in my intensity and boom done. I agree with you PPFD charts are great an all but it doesn’t translate well to real world conditions easily. Anyway hope that helps you. Good luck 🤙
