OnionDuck18 The seeds i got looked abit iffy at first, but they sprouted roots after only 1 day and are taking well to the soil and day and night temp differences

OnionDuck18 Week two was a breeze with my 2 stardawg babies. I moved them each into a 80L and 100L pots at the beginning of week 2. Both pots are filled with a mix of soil from my backyard mixed with homemade kitchen and garden scrap compost. As well as amended with basalt rock dust, bonemeal, kelp meal, insect frass, bio-char and pot ash. The pots were then layered with alternating layers of soil and organic matter and then the pots were left for over a month to age before having anything planted in them. Since being transplanted i have started giving them 50ml of kelp tea once a week. There aint much to say about their growth so far beyond that they growing normally and that the younger one in the fabric pot has already grown bigger than its older sister P.S. (I know the dog food bags are not good for root ventilation but they work well for budget grows)

OnionDuck18 This week wasn't the best for my star babies. The warming temperatures caused my first plant abit of heat stress on her initial and tri leaves but her new growth seems to be catching up to replace them. Then the second plant got a couple leaves munched on by a unknown pest but that hasnt really affected her

OnionDuck18 Springs in the air and these girls are loving it. Plant 1 wasnt even phased by the heat damage from a week or so ago And plant 2 has well outgrown the damage from being munched on They both started pre flower and i topped them both at the 5th node and am giving them abit of time to heal before i start lst

OnionDuck18 Well i missed a few updates but in that time the heat and rains have come and brought with them scale bugs, which is why i sprayed these 2 star babies with 1ml/1l of spinosad Plant 1 did not take to topping very well as its 2 top nodes did not really stretch out but it still growing pretty bushy for her small size with a fair few bud sites. The wind had also broken off a lower branch during a storm, but even though that branch is only being held on by a tiny bit of stem it still hasnt slowed that branches growth. I am also loving the bud structure as it is pretty unique but dense and is so shiny with trichomes that i see the stars. She also has a pretty unique and good smell with honey sweetness and other hints of stuff that i cant really compare to anything. Plant 2s leaves recieved a pretty bad beating from some hail and after that she became one of the favourites for the scale bugs but she has been healing well from that damage. She also took atleast fairly decent to the topping and i am not disapointed in her growth. Shes abit slower in bud formation than plant 1 but i aint complaining. She also is still very faint in her smell but i still get some sweetness
