Week 3 4/9/21-10/9/21 4/9/21 Day 15: The pH continued to rise and get above 8+ each day and ppm was rising I think the tank just built up some algae so I did a full reservoir change. 30L of tap water in. Added the CALiMAGic back in and kept the rest of the nutes at the same strength. PPM came in around 650. pH adjusted down to 5.6 hopefully it will rise a little bit overnight. 5/9/21 Day 16: The plants seem happy following the reservoir change. The pH finally seems stable hasn't risen above 6.1 overnight and the ppm has gone down a bit which means the plants are actually feeding! 😁 I accidentally snapped the top of plant #1 while trying to bend the top down, it did not fully detach. Hopefully this will be some accidental high stress training/supercroping. Weekly foliar spray of aloevate done during lights off. Day 16 photos taken at lights on. 6/9/21 Day 17: I feel like we are going in circles here and the pH is now back to rising above 8.0. I've added some down and will recheck tomorrow. 7/9/21 Day 18: Ah shit, here we go again the pH is definitely back to spiking up. PPMs are slightly going down so I feel like they do need some more nutes. I was scared of over feeding them but I think they might be hungry. I am going to do another reservior change and increase the nutrients and take it from there. 8/9/21 Day 19: Okay another compulsive reservoir change! 😅 25L of tap water with increased nutrients as the ones listed in this week's entry. Photos from the reservoir change attached. 9/9/21 Day 20: Plants haven't rejected the upped nutrients. PPMs are sitting around 970. I should mention that the nutrients I am using are mostly organic based so I feel like the plants can handle handle higher PPMs. 10/9/21 Day 21: Plants have taken well to the latest reservoir change! 😁 Starting to really grow up now. Some day 21 photos were taken. After the photos I started tying down plant #2. Weekly wrap up: This week it seems like the rollercoaster might finally be over. The journey continues another week in the books. LST has officially started. Just FYI: The photos are always in order even down to which nutrients were added first! 😎
