Got the little ones set up once they developed a decent taproot, planted them in coast of Maine platinum grower mix and will use 3 gallon aero pots. The two unknown plants come from my second outdoor grow a few years ago. I grew three plants, two being female and one being a male which ended up pollinating my females. I kept a bunch of the seeds and even after a few years they still pop after 2-3 days! I decided to run two of them indoors since I just got my first indoor setup back in April and completed my first run with end results I was satisfied with. Along with the two unknown I have two Peach Maraschino since they were my favorite out of the bunch last run, and hope for the best over the next three months🤞
Plants responded well to topping, each plant has 6 tops except for one of the phenos that has 5 due to one top not showing explosive growth. Will flip into flower even though I’d prefer 4 weeks in veg, I need to finish this cycle by mid November to close up the basement for the winter!
This week I spent a little more time indoor since I finished up with the outdoor ladies. I should have noticed sooner but #2 turned out to be a male! I’m not going to kill the plant, I would actually like to collect the pollen and use it for seeds. Instead of allowing the plant to pollinate the entire grow tent I will grow the plant outdoors where it will hopefully develop enough for me to collect the goods. The three plants remaining have all shown great health up to this point and have begun to show their first buds. One of the Peach Maraschino is also beginning to show a beautiful purple color in the leaves without drop in temperature which leads me to believe this could be a very colorful pheno!
Olá amigo
É normal é estranho mas acontece muito. Estás plantas são conhecidas por formarem folhas estranhas, mutações etc. mas está tudo bem com a planta e o que interessa:)
Boa sorte no cultivo e abraço
The two phenotypes of peach maraschino are becoming more and more distinct each week. Beautiful pink and purple colors have started to show through on one of the peach maraschino ladies which has me very excited for the next few weeks. I have tried some liquid nutrients for this run, micro and bloom from pH perfect at light feedings in hopes of increasing yields from the previous run of peach maraschino
Light bleaching occurred on the tops of one Peach Maraschino so I moved the light further away from the plants. Beautiful colors have continued to show through on the same peach maraschino plant with bleached tips. Plant #1 has an odor that resembles lemon pez or bubblegum with a hint of lemon cleaner. The two peach maraschino plants have an odor that resembles sweet candy peaches
#1 ended up finishing far earlier than I expect and I cut it down, now only the two Peach Maraschino remain. One of the phenos has continued to remain slightly less impressive visually however the terps and smell are equally there. I expect another week or two until harvest for Peach Maraschino and have began flushing this week
