Hi Growmies!
Some significant growth this week on the NL as she recovered quickly from her topping last week. I removed the large fan leaves from the main stem to provide more room for the branches to grow up and she has responded very well. She will get transplanted to her final pot this week as I begin LST and bend down the top branches to meet the lower branches and form a canopy. She'll sit in her final pot for another 3 to 4 weeks before I flip the lights and begin flowering. However, if I decide to chuck my lemon skunk outside and let her go, I may go a bit longer to fill my tent.
I don't even know with what's happening with this Lemon Skunk, but I believe she didn't like her substrate due to poor preparation on my part, and some inconsistent pH management with this run of nutrients. The initial calcium and magnesium deficiencies are evident, albeit they have stopped, and now she's clawing which would suggest she doesn't enjoy a high EC due to too much N. To be frank, I'm following a recommendation from the Floramax website which I think is well overtuned as I normally don't exceed an EC of 1.6 when using canna nutes and have had great results. It could also be genetics, 2 seeds from this batch didn't pop so who knows. I won't be reporting on it anymore.
Until next week fam, peace out!
