As usual, only fed mineral water. The tip of the leaves were turning lime green which I think it's a calmag deficiency so I sprayed with high mineral bottled water to see if it helps because I'm broke and can't afford calmag 😭
Topped one of them. Foliar sprayed 0.6ml/L calmag twice during week 4. Once the substrate dries enough 'll water with calmag.
Update: accidentally fed 6.0ml instead of 0.6 😭, let's see how they develop during the next week.
Had to flush all plants with mineral water ph'd at 5.8 because I added too much calmag. After flushing I top-dressed Nutrihemp, Tres algas sólido and Great white myco.
Defoliated the lower branches, thinking of switching to 12/12 in 2 weeks.
Forgot to add that I've been watering until I see a bit of runoff at the bottom since week 3
Some leaves got burnt but everything is good, just flipped to 12/12. I think the pH down is causing the leaves to burn or maybe my pH pen is not working properly (I've already calibrated it) so I'll stop adjusting pH, in the next couple of days there should be some pistils. I wanted to let them grow for around 9 weeks but I think they'll grow too tall for my tent.
Forgot to add that I kinda supercropped one of them because I didn't want to defoliate anymore.
I originally created the diary just for 2 plants but I forgot which ones 😅😅😅. They've been under 12/12 for 5 days now and no signs of pre-flower but they've definitely grown a lot. I haven't added anything extra, just plain water when the substrate is dry.
Just to remind you that all of them are OG Kush #18 but the first two were germinated 1 week before the rest.
Flipped to 12/12 a couple of weeks ago but the flowers are just now starting to form. One of the plants turned hermie out of nowhere, I really don't know what happened. Also the lower leaves are turning yellow and I think it has something to do with the pH because I think I added too much calmag but other than that they're doing their thing.
I haven't been able to work on the plants, been very busy. All I was able to do is remove a couple of leaves here and there and the lack of maintenance shows 😭😭😭. But anyways, haven't fed anything other than plain water, I don't even remember when I'm supposed to feed next, so let's see how things go. Also two plants are showing symptoms that I believe are due to pH levels.
Just plain water and 3g/liter of substrate of the Tres Algas Sólido. Some leaves are super yellow and I think it has something to do with the pH. We'll see. Buds are developing well.
Haven't had much time to take care of the plants, just fed once with 2ml/l of Bachumus Evolution Floración and that's it. The leaves continue to yellow. They're starting to smell a lot now, will probably have to use the filter in the next couple of weeks.
Talked to a friend and I think the problem is the water's EC. I've been watering with mineral water low in minerals so I'll water with tap water for the following weeks until harvest. Other than that, plants are smelling great and producing a lot of resin, I'm eager to try them. For those planning on growing this strain, I definitely recommend topping because they get super bushy.
I discovered the problem. Started watering with straight tap water and it hasn't gotten worse. I'm eager to harvest them, the next ones will be perfect.
Due to the EC problem the buds have not fattened up as I'd like to but they are producing a lot of resin for sure. Anyways, now I got my hand on mineral water with different ECs so it won't happen again! Sorry for the bad photos but I'm pretty sure you can easily see the trichomes. First time I'm able to see the trichomes that close, I'm super excited to try it, just need to wait around 3-4 more weeks to harvest :( Other than that, just plain water. There's still food left in the substrate. I've also noticed the tip of the main buds are foxtailing but I've seen the same happen with other growers so I think it's genetics??
