Two of the 4 look good. Rooted my guess around the 15th taken from the best plant of the 3rd generation that are now flowering wonderfully.

When you cut a potential clone from the mother. I usually try to have at least 3 nodes, but when the nodes are alternating (why do they alternate sometimes?) VS two leaves stemming on each side of the main stem in a symmetrical style? I also cut the bottom in a diagonal way why?

In my experience most symmetrical plants come from seed or from main stem clone. Once you start cutting from side branches you will tend to have asymmetrical or alternating growth. I'm not certain but I believe the purpose of diagonal cutting is to maximize surface area for the clone to uptake water and for the area to grow new roots from.

Sudden yellowing and discoloration of a e or 4 week cutting. I water it when I see the Coco getting a little dry. I make sure there is at least 20% of run off water. I watered with pH corrected water to pH of 6. I also add a small amount of canna bioryzotonic for their roots.

They are still pretty small and could be fine in a solo cup as long as you do your part to keep them happy (watered and fed.) But you could always pop them out really quick to see if they are root bound. Transplanting to a slightly larger pot probably wouldn't hurt as long as you don't put too much water until they spread their roots. I definitely agree that building a good root system before transplant is beneficial at least in my experience. I tend to go from solo (I let 'em get about a foot tall) to a gallon nursery bag (until I see lots of roots along the inside of the bag) then usually into 5 gallon bag. I have seen people go straight from seed to 7 gallon bag with no issues, as long as they do their part to not over water.

They are growing and looking better each day with the better spiderfarmer sf 1000 light added at 50% power on the dimmer. I have hope for these lasses. I will transplant to one gallon soon. Then to 3 gallon. And finish in 5 gallon containers. All plastic pots.

Lots of pruning and training. I will flower them in 3 weeks after I transplant to 3 gallon containers. they are getting excited to be women. can't wait to see them blossom into elegant plant women. and then save their genitals for smoking... haha is this real life? who knows I love smoking this plants genitals.

transplanted them from heavy rootbound solo cups to 1 gallon. will transplant again when they are ready for it to the final container of 5 gallon plastic container. using canna coco coir pretreatment by me with biocanna bioryzotonic and a calmag. the medium also contains maybe 25% perlite. I transplanted about a week ago and I am already seeing roots come out the bottom of their new containers. leaves were looking a little not green enough with some brown spots near the tips of mostly new growth. so I flushed it. my pretreatment may have been to hot or something. but the EC of the runoff is almost the same as the input water. it was almost double at 1000 (something semens measuring unit haha) before I cleansed them. I'm taking a lot of cuttings. I am no longer stuck to medical marijuana rules. my state of Montana is officially recreationally legal! can't wait to not feel like a criminal.

the roots have recovered greatly from the transplant. I will transplant soon. can't decide if I want to flower in 3 or 5 gallon containers. taking lots of clones and low stress training a lot. sculpting them to absorb the most light possible. considering using 2 scrog nets. we will see.

overdue transplant into the final container. very rootbound, nothing bad smelling out brown looking. my last harvest I flowered in a one gallon container of coco coir and perlite. worked out great. but you had to water them 2 to 3 times a day. biggest buds I've had so far canned from that harvest. these here in this diary. started in jiffy disk, then to the solo cup, into one gallon plastic containers for sale 3 weeks. to finally, get the 5 gallon plastic containers they deserve. I am trying a new premix still of coco and perlite, the Mother Earth brand. they were watered this morning with food. and just before bed( 2 hours ) with a kleanse formula from cyco platinum nutrients to level out the salts and will be watered with food tomorrow morning. EC is (my meter reads in the thousands. some kinda seman unit?) doesn't matter. the input EC is usually around 1000. the PH at 5.9 ish. runoff water had about an EC of 1100 - 1290 and PH of about 6.7. don't know why the ph won't go down. I recalibrated my meter and still sits at 6.7 ish. in the runoff. will let them get used to the new home and then time to reduce lighting for flower. legal is montana for all! I had my medical card before. people still ask me for my weed then go to a dispensary. mine is quite the vintage. great year for weed mmmm yess agreed. grow job maybe! if they practice the correct growing style. I showed the owner my grow diaries and he asked to do an interview. science is writing it down.

perfect amount of stretching, I was afraid they would get too big for their own good but I think I am good.
