NewbieOne Rapid rooter was used, placed about 2 inches into the soil.

NewbieOne True leaves sprouted out, she’s beginning to really start growing! Watering every 4 days at about 8 cups of water now.
Starting to also see shedding of the stem (not pictured)
NewbieOne Sprout grew extremely fast this week! She’s giving off a light odor now when the tent is opened and pistils are starting to form.
Will be starting to adjust light height soon as she was almost touching the grow light this week.
Watering every 4 days until water drains out of the fabric pot (around 8 cups of water)
NewbieOne This week sprout got watered Wednesday and will be watered again Sunday.
I defoliated about 6 fan leaves to allow for lower branches with pistils to get more light
NewbieOne I believe sprout is in her 3rd flowering week. These past two weeks she stretched to double the height, grew so tall that she got light burn on some leaves. As you can see from some photos, I couldn’t move the light any higher and didn’t want to top her since she’s an auto flower, so I moved her to one end of the tent and the light to the other.
Next grow, I will be using LST to ensure the stretching doesn’t result in the same height
NewbieOne This week, decided to experiment by changing the amount of light she gets in a day from 18/6 to 16/8. I can say that you can now start seeing crystals on the leaves, so hopefully the light change will be beneficial.
We also had a power outage for around 12 hrs, I had to pull her out of the tent to get some light
NewbieOne This week went by fast! Leaves are starting to turn color slightly in some spots as the buds are getting fuller and more trichomes begin to appear
NewbieOne Watered twice this week, starting to see more of the pistils turn amber but still low levels of clouding on the trichomes.
Hoping to see fuller buds through the last couple weeks
NewbieOne Unsure if this will produce bigger buds before harvest, watching the trichomes now to see when the right time will be.
I anticipate her being ready by Christmas, will cut when trichomes are mostly cloudy
NewbieOne Continuing to check the color of the trichomes, she’s still getting a bit denser and the smell is getting stronger.
I anticipate she will be ready for harvest within the next week or so?
NewbieOne This was an exciting first time grow! Sprout produced about 173g wet weight and with current dry weight I’m looking at just shy of 2 oz.
I’ve purchased the spider farmer SF1000D for my next grow, hoping not to see such extreme stretching with a more powerful light and a larger yield.
