Running 4 feminized photoperiod Agent Orange plants from Crop King Seeds. All 4 will grow on Gaia Green organic dry amendments. 2 will be mixed in Pro-Mix HP and 2 will be mixed in Mo'Koko. This will be my second time testing the difference between the two mediums while using Gaia Green. The last grow was done in a budge secondary set up with auto flowers and minimal effort. They were also over fertilized (being my first time with dry amendments, mistakes happen). Pro-Mix HP was the winner in the end.
These seeds were soaked in a cup of water for 16h, then placed in paper towel until germinated. After 1 day all seeds were ready to be planted in 1g fabric pots with a 50/50 mix between Gaia Green 444 and 284.
All 4 seeds were sprouted in 4 days.
Lights set to 80% and 31" away.
Started getting some yellowing in the lower leaves and brown spots all over. I haven't installed my new AC Infinity T6 inline fan yet due to laziness. My pH pen also needed recalibration.
Trimmed a few leaves, recalibrated my pH pen and finally installed the inline fan. We will see if proper air exchange helps these girls out. Going to be giving a top dressing next week.
Bought a new pH pen, the one I was using started giving very bad readings, was off by as much as 0.8.
Defoliated more, attempted to lollipop, removing the lower half of growth.
Put in a trellis net.
2 plants in the back are growing much larger. The two up front are more bushy.
No noticeable difference between which medium is performing better.
The plants are starting to look a bit better after the repotting with fresh nutes.
