Blueboy100 Germination was 100% successful with 9 from 9 emerging. Seedlings emerged between days 2 and 3 after sowing in root riot cubes. They were immediately potted into 6.5 litre square pots and watered in thoroughly with plain water at 6.5 pH. Plants have only needed watering once more since the initial potting again with just pH adjusted water.
Lighting is provided using par+ 250w led light by diyled.com. Initially set at approx. 5% power and a height of around 1m. This is reduced every other day until a hight of 60cm above canopy is reached. I will then slowly increase intensity over several days.
Heating was previously provided by 3kw oil filled radiator situated outside of tent as there was no room in the tent. However, as the temperature has dropped it was struggling to bring the temp in the tent above 18°C. A new ultra flat 500w heater. Essentially a large 120cm x 50cm heating matt. Is now suspended at the rear of the tent and connected to a Bluetooth thermostat set at 22°C which is providing an average temp around 21°C.

Blueboy100 Winter weather has arrived and temps have dropped considerably. The new ultra flat heater is doing an excellent job of keeping the grow tent at an average temp of around 22°C.
Lights are now lowered to 60cm above canopy which is where they will stay for the remainder of veg. Gradually increasing light intensity now up at around 50% and should be up to 100% by the end of the week
Introduced the first nutes this week using Organix Grow by Intense Nutrients. Used just 0.5ml/l, also added some Great White Mycorrhizae then adjusted pH to 6.5. 400ml per plant saw water just starting to seep into the trays.
The two plants which had fallen over last week are both looking strong and are showing no negative signs in growth or development. So far so good.

Blueboy100 On going wintery weather is regularly forcing outdoor temps below freezing and the grow is in a room without heating. With this in mind I invested in a water heater to keep my nutrient solution from getting too cold. Seems to be doing the trick but as my small water bucket is sat on the concrete floor. I need a trip to the local DIY store for some polystyrene insulation board for it to sit on.
Light intensity is now at full power and still at 60cm above canopy.
Increased nutes to 0.75ml/l. Pots take 400ml of solution which for now is lasting 3 days before before the babies need another drink.
All looking good so far.
