stonedkoala Dropped a seed into distilled water @ room temp with a pH of ~5.8 for 12 hours. After 12 hours I tapped the seed & it sunk. Then transferred to wet paper towels in a pyrex with heat pad on 77 degrees. Sprouted a tail in about 48 hours. Put in Rockwool that was soaked for 24 hours in water with a pH between 3-4 and 24 inches from the light. As soon as the root shows I transfer to DWC buckets.

stonedkoala Cut back on the cal-mag. Started LST. Lowered humidity to ~55%. Starting to stank a little bit. Getting such high ppm readings compared to my other round even though I'm following the same amounts. Idk just going to wait and see how she does. Update: thought she had Nute Burn so on 12/8 flushed with plain water + hydroguard @ 5.8 pH, ~100-120 ppm.

stonedkoala 12/12 did half the amount of nutes I would minus calmag- 0.45 micro & gro, 0.95 bloom per gal. Brown spots appeared on 12/14 so I switched her to full nutes + calmag, ~500 ppm. ~45%RH @ 76 degrees

12/22- 3 gallons, did 1.5 ml/gal of micro instead of usual 1.9 ml/gal bc I know she's sensitive to nitrogen so we'll see how she does. forgot to write down ppm. I think it was 600-650. Looking healthy.

That to me looks like a trichome that lost its head.
but this reference says it is a unicellular non-giandular trichome

stonedkoala Stopped the calmag. Cloudy trichomes. Ppm was lower than expected, got ~265 when I wanted ~400. Lowered temps and dropped humidity to 30-40%. Probably will flush next week. I'm pretty happy with this grow being my second one and it's already better than my first. I'm enjoying the journey and learning experience.

stonedkoala Because of her weird structure the top nugs with some amber trichomes are only ready to harvest so im giving her another week before flushing. Just repeated last weeks nutes but used a gallon of distilled plus gallon of tap.
