what a disaster... but i'm gonna grow em out anyway. got caught with the seeds, thinking they're legit breeder seeds but after i bought em realized they're actuall rebranded bulk seeds. won't make that mistake again.
germinated perfectly but moved them inside at night coz there's a lot of snails and slugs about at the moment. left them in a room with the light on and they stretched early. looked healthy other than the legs. they spent a day outside in a strong wind and all fell flat at soil level from the stress - i shoulda stopped right then and started again but, i mean, here we are. 5 weeks in and they're tiny. next watering will add bloom nutes. gonna start another grow in the meantime. this time i'm going to move them outside right after they break soil and try to shadecloth them and hope that's enough protection from heat, wind and sun.
day 34: defoliation of just a couple of leaves and pinched the mangled head off of the haze. it was going anywhere. fed 2ml biobizz bloom per liter: 1 litre to each plant. they're not very thirsty yet and the pots werent as dry as i'd have liked but i think they need some food.
will get Grow to add to the nutes from now on. root juice for the next seeds.
d36 thrips and baby grasshoppers
sprayed with neem
starting on 1ml grow / 2ml bloom. going up to 3ml bloom. not gonna train them much after yesterdays. neem spray every week now and will put yellow sticky cards on the soil
main colas startign to fill out but the superskunk is looking very bare. neither plant has impressive buds on the branches yet... here's hoping.
bugs are under control for now, put sticky yellow under the plants which has caught a few. shook a tiny baby praying mantis out and it managed to high step itself off of the card which is in keeping with somethign i read somewhere that beneficial insects don't get caught as much as the harmful ones. they're getting 2L each every 2 days. neem oil once a week.
more leaves with white dots. found tiny white things under the leaves which look like spider mite eggs but haven't seen any mites. some black dots under the leaves but they're not moving. will get a stronger magnifying glass and check more of the leaves. no more neem as only a few weeks to harvest so i'm a bit stumped. if it is mites i'll probably go for alcohol/water solution sprayed under the leaves. i've been successful with that on chilli plants before.
