Rain water will be good for your plant. You need to have a clean way to catch it. I wouldn't use rain water running off a tar or shingle roof.

No, very little if any. They get stinking at or near flowering. My girls I can control the smell up until the light goes out in the morning. For 2 hours after that the stench goes through my entire home. Even with a huge extraction fan running.

Styropor or newspaper around your tent should help your plants to be warm. If you use newspaper you need minimum 6 Layers.
