Seeds are in a glass of dechlorinated water. They should crack open in about 18 - 24 hrs, then I will move them to a paper towel to sprout the taproot.
Well, I have to say this isn't what I expected. The Northern Lights and the Quarter Pounder auto seeds from Canuk seeds have me a little worried. The first germination went nowhere. Both failed to pop. on the second try, the Northern Lights auto is now in the seedling stage, while the Quarter Pounder has not yet shed the husk and is still in the germinator. I don't think it will survive.
Update Dec 31st, 2021: My Northern Lights Auto from Canuck Seeds is doing well. After trying to get the Quarter Pounder Auto to finish its germination, it is starting to show signs of life. Yesterday I used a syringe and used water ph'ed to 6.5 and added some H2O2 to the water hoping that would fix some of the rooting issues. it seems to have worked the plant was a little higher out of the pot.
The Northern Lights Auto from Canuk Seeds is doing well and looks like it could be a good producer. On the other side of the spectrum, Quarter Pounder Auto is struggling to get going.
Update 01/07/22: The Quarter Pounder from Canuk Seeds didn't survive.
