I can't believe how stocky and fast these plants are ,but having now done a small amount of research I have discovered these aren't quick small plants and three in a 12 ltr pot in a 50cm by 50 cm ,1.5 mtr tall box was a bit silly ,but I've started so I'll try to make this work with lst And defoliation the hearer in the res is managing to keep the temp stable all plants look healthy

Looks good for a budget grow. If I may offer some pointers, I would suggest getting a PAR meter & a thermal temp gun to get the most potential out of your lights onto your plants. Also your temps for this stage are a bit low. Cannabis plants love heat and humidity the buds hate it. So veg & early flower we can exploit that for more vigorous growth. Veg & early flower we can go up to low 80's with lights on and no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. When cannabis plants are exposed to large temp fluctuations more than 10 degrees in veg and early flower they stretch. When they are done growing vertically by weeks 4 to 6 of flower depending on strain, That same stress will instead signal the plants to send more energy to the budding process and to cake up more. I would suggest getting the lights closer to the plants as possible. Lack of light intensity will give airy buds without much cake on them. Keep up the great work man really impressive on a budget. If you have a minute check out my 200 light LED 7,000 plant diary & follow my profile. If you ever have any questions feel free to ask. Happy growing!

@Favferrit, Glad I could help, few quick tips when bringing your lights closer. 'If you have yet to get a Therm gun and PAR meter, use the top of your hand over the plant tops to judge the temp and watch out for signs of taco-ing. When the cannabis plant gets too much light it will fold it's leafs inwards exactly like a taco, it does this to shut down photosynthesis.

Hey mate! For the tiny light that you’re working with these plants are doing astonishingly good! I’m just confused as to why you’re using CO2. It’s a total waste in your case and there’s no need for it. CO2 only helps if you’re growing within very tightly controlled parameters and with A LOT of light and way higher temperatures. Seeing as you’re using a 40W light and your temps are nearly too low, the CO2 you’re adding could actually hurt your plants more than it’ll benefit them. I’d suggest to remove CO2 entirely until you got very high temps and a powerful proper light. Happy growing!

@Elodin,ok thanks for that, I think I'll just leave it off now ,I was thinking of digging the old hps out , but I think I'll carry on with this cheap Chinese led to see what happens

@Favferrit, I’m not sure about an upper limit in temperature. 30-36°C (86-96.8°F) is no problem when you’re running CO2. IMO 27°C is the temperature where it starts to make sense to use CO2.
