For germinating I've placed them in to soil cubes, cause I've fucked up a lot of times. Once they sprouted I broke the soil cube and have rinsed the sprouts to prevent any organic material from infecting my system.
After two days the first sprouts came out of their new rockwool cubes. I have watered them with a Hy-Pro nute mix at an EC of 0.7 on Demi-Water (only used at start).
So far so good, I hope the roots will drop into the reservoir soon, so we can really start to see them growing.
Pre growing under TL caused my sprouts to stretch very quickly, for the next time I need to figure out how to do it better.
Lets say I germinated for 2 weeks since they havent been growing in the length, all this time they were rooting. At the end of this week the roots finaly touched the nute water.
I lowered EC level to 0.7, I think my EC was too high at the start and night temperature too cold. I solved it with a small heater inside the tent.
Lets see how they are ground since they have touched the nute water, Im gonna increase my EC to 1.0 - 1.1 this week!
Since my PH is rising 0.1 a day I let it climb up to 6.0 and then climb back down with 0.1 a day until we reach PH 5.6
Before next round I'll try to have the X-stream propagator so I can start rooting two weeks in advance to speed up the process.
I gave 66% of this nutrient scheme, to get to an EC of 1.3 with a tapwater EC of 0.4.
I am gonna increase to 1.4 this week. Meanwhile letting my PH fluctuate back and forth between 5.6 and 6.0
