They are awake now!
End of May, and they are getting plenty of sun
and space to stretch out in the greenhouse
still dealing with frost warnings at night,
moving them to warm starts room and back in the am
Still dealing with frost warnings at night and therefore transporting them in the am and pm. They have some discoloration on most of the fan leaves. Not worried, just going to continue to observe
fully feeling it these days
getting an inch a day of vegetative growth
and they are responding quite well to their environment
warmer nights and moderate days
vigorous growth this week, nearly 2 inches a day!
very happy with the lush dense foliage,
starting to see some preflowering
not gonna do any training or pruning - wait and see approach
they've just started their transition from veg to flowering stage
and it's been a treat to watch.
now that they're in this stage, I'm just gonna allow them to grow as they like.
so, no pruning, topping, bending or any other human interference until harvest.
Pure curiosity to see how they grow unencumbered and untouched.
I will intervene if I see signs of disease, malnutrition, etc
but otherwise, I'll just keep watering and observing. Feeling GREAT!😇🙏
We've been having a crazy heat wave week, and I was circumstantially away from the girls for most of the week. Friends were keeping an eye, watering, etc. A little frustrating to miss them and take my eyes off of them, but they look good. A few burnt tips - I think from the sun - and some dead lower fan leaves. Flowering looks really nice.
Full on heat wave, the girls spend the day outside and sleep in the greenhouse at night. Starting to see some nutrient depletion in the lower fan leaves, but nothing to be concerned about. Have been letting them do their thing, and the flowers are starting to fill out nicely. Observation is my main goal this week.
buds are really looking choice. may have a bit of a ph imbalance that i'll keep an eye on, but i'm definitely well on my way in the flowering stage. starting to really smell.
most of the fan leaves at this point are quite weak and discolored which is an indicator that all that good good energy is going to the buds. we've had some really hot and really humid days and I'm gonna do some research on how that effects bud development because they look ready to harvest soon but it still feels early.
