I don't have any pics from week 4 so i thought i will share how i control my grow-box. It's all automated. Day cycle and night cycle are getting different environments. The hole control hardware cost not more than 50 USD (Some Sonoff Wifi switches, some sensors and a Wemos D1). The software is all open source (Domoticz running on a Raspberry clone (Nano Pi)) and it was a fun project to develop. I can even control it from my phone and get warning messages when something is too hot or too humid or too cold :)

Time to bring them to freedom :) Three of them will go outside in the grow-bag in a compost/garden-soil mix. For the other three i dig a hole in the ground and fill it also with compost/garden-soil. Lets see how different they evolve.

Hello @Peak81 ! From the fourth photo at week 14 i can spot several deficiencies. I can see potassium, nitrogen and zinc. Because of luck of information i will assume that you use a basic soil and you give no nutrients. So that's the number 1 reason that makes me think that you have deficiencies because the nutrients are not inside your soil. The number 2 reason is that if you don't give any liquid nutrients especially synthetic you can't mess with ph, salt build up and stuff like that. The number 3 reason is that if it was a ph problem you shouldn't have signs of nitrogen, potassium and zinc deficiency together. Nitrogen and potassium locks at low PH but zinc becomes more available. So if your PH was high you should have zinc deficiency and not nitrogen and potassium and if it was low you should have nitrogen and potassium deficiency and not zinc. Also zinc is number one micro nutrient deficiency for home made soils and i just saw at the comments below that you made your own soil. You should has put some amendments in it. Soil with just compost can't raise properly a cannabis plant. It will grow but it will not give its best. So my recommendation is to start using nutrients in order to fix it fast. If you don't want to use bottle nutrients ( i think you should use them until the problem is fixed ) you can make compost teas with guano, kelp meal, potassium sulfate (all organic) and other immediate absorption stuff. For the long term top dress your soil with amendments and cover them with some quality compost in order to be broken down by microbes and be available for your plant. Next time put some amendments from the beginning... Happy growing 👊

Today i dragged out two of the babes in the growing-bag. To reduce the risk that root rot will spread. IN CASE it is root rot. The one which seems to die and another one which seems to start similar symptoms. I cut holes in the bottom part of the grow-bag and to my surprise the soil was dry. So i don't think any more that it is root rot. The soil i am using is: 50% "Composana Universal" from Garden store 40% older compost from mostly lawn cuttings 10% Perlite The Composana is soil which has nutrients inside already. And many people use it to grow Marijuana in my country. But maybe it is not enough? So i will add liquid nutrients from now on and see how it will behave. I have three plants in grow-bags and 3 plants just in the ground (same soil mix than the grow-bag plants). But the 3 plants in the ground don't show any of these symptoms. Only difference is that the grow-bags have a limited space.

Most of them finally start flowering. Very late already. I give lots of water to the grow bag plants now with some nutrients. Lets see the progress over the next week. How to make a curing jar with LCD for 3USD: https://youtu.be/Pu7DJWsTqCQ

Week 23. The first picture. Why do some leaves turn purple? Not that i can do much about it any more because they get butchered soon :) Just curious.

Hi it's possible that theyturn purple because plants got 3 different color pigments on their leaves red, green and blue, most time in autumn they turn orange oder red and some plants turn blue or purple, So it can also be a natural reason Nice grow 👌🏼👍

Hello @Peak81 ! The purple leaves is molybdenum deficiency and it is triggered by low temperatures. Happy growing ! 👊

Hi @Peak81! Genetics, cold temperatures, cold solution/medium, or a Phosphorous deficiency can lead to purple stems. In your scenario, it's certainly temp-related. Is your daytime temperature 10°C? What about the night temp? That's under the safe zone, 15°c is the ultimate threshold where you won't encounter issues. Hopefully the sun is going to fix this next week. Keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊
