Ayahuasca Purple - Indoor

JodyH Keeping soil moisted, giving them some more time before I start with fertilizers. Plants are in 20liter / 5.3 gal pots in a closet 1m x 0,6m.

JodyH Added a little bit of BioBizz Root Juice for healthy and strong root system. Plants growing really fast.

JodyH Started with fertilizers (50% of recommended dose) and with a little bit of LST. I know it might a bit too early, I was just curious about results and how it will go.

JodyH Plants are growing well. Because LST started too early (I admit I was too excited), I´m giving these plants a little bit more time to grow. Going now with standard amount of fertilizers.

JodyH Week 4 - I continued with LST a little bit, had some humidity issues (dropped to 30%), however plants seems fine, growing nicely. I also added Fish Mix, hope plant will love it.

JodyH Plants doing really nice, looks happy. Continued with a little bit of LST. Using still same watering schedule (1-2 days until dry). I´d rather watering them a bit less but more often. Can´t tell if it´s better or not, most important is that plants are doing fine. They are also smell a little bit now.

JodyH Decided to switch lighting schedule next week to 12/12. Started using flowering fertilizers. Also did a little bit of defoliation as plants are really bush. Removed few leaves on the very bottom of the plant for better air flow. Plants are also more thirsty, now they need water every (other) day. Maybe I could simply use a little bit more, but I like to doing this stuff on everyday basis.

JodyH It´s here! Plants are now switched to 12/12 schedule to start flowering phase. Leaving the MH bulb for growing for this week before I will switch bulb to HPS for flowering. Keeping these flowering nutrients on the same level. Continue with little bit of LST and defoliation of unhealthy lower leaves. Also, I´m now trying to lower temperature a little bit. My goal is to maintain 24-25°C during the day and 18-19°C during the night. I´m curious if dropping temperature will lead to more purple buds. We will see.

JodyH This week I had to rise up light again (from 25cm to 35 cm). Plant is stretching so fast (tallest branch now having over 40cm). There is also no space remaining for LST or something, so I´m just letting it grow. Plants are also significantly more thirsty. They can now drink 1l of water every day (maybe every other day). I also decided to keep the veg light for one more week to prevent more stretching before I will switch to flowering light. If you look closely you can see that white hairs starts growing on the top of the branches.

JodyH Flowering is obvious on both plants. for this week I´m going to switch to Flowering HPS bulb. Keeping the day room temperature around 22-23°C while night temperatures are around 18-19°C. Plants looks happy, however I´ll have to add net to support branches in near future. Also, I will start to use some potassium fertilizer to keep incoming buds big and juicy. I did a little bit of defoliation too to keep the bottom of the plant clean so air can flow easily there. You can see on the video two fans which are working 24/7.
