Hello evryone. The two girls are off to a good start. I may have stunted their growth a lil due to the extreme cold when lights off. But that's taking care of now.
The ladies ate doing lovely. At the end of day 10 they are beginning to blow up. Before lights on on day 11, I will be flushing the medium and giving the medium a Azamax treatment.
The start of day 21 and the ladies are doing well. On day 16 Taz showed some cal and mag issues but with a proper flush and fresh nurts she bounce back quickly. They both will get a flush on Sunday with a azamax treatment. Did notice a lil smell when I got off work today. Will order filter and fan soon.
Coming up on the end of week 4 with Liz and Taz doing great. LST training started this week and small amounts of defoliation day by day. I also up the nutrients to 100% just because of the flush. It the girls like it i will keep it up there. Notice a few white pistol showing, next week will be in flower mode. Fan and filter on order. Thinking bout adding a trellis net because of all the sites I'm seeing developing.
Week 5 and this week we are in flowering. More like a pre-flower. Got my filter and fan hook up as smells are starting to get stronger. Still running nuts at 100%. Did a big defoliation and install a trellis net.
Crazy week with work and the girls. Day 37 and flowers are foaming nicely. Did give her a haircut and the leafs I removed were nice and green and healthy. After a few years of using Canna I can say its has grown on me as one of my favorite nutrient companies. Did have a mess this week with the pump kicking on by accident and pumping the girls with 3 gallons of nutrient water. No worries as the girls recover fast. When I grow autos or photo periods I give Cannas PK 13/14 from about 35-55. Then no more after that. The results at the end speak for themselves.
Week 7 going great. Liz is stretching a lot. She is more on the on the sativa side with her fan leaves. Both stacking well. Cut nutrients in half on the Canna A and B.
Hey BucketBrigade, welcome. I've always notice that more than 18 hours have no difference in yield with autoflowers. Me and a buddy always do side by side experiments. This time around I'm doing 18 hours and he is doing 15 hours. We will post the results here also at the end of this grow. Cheers.
@MisFit219, I'm looking forward to see those results. I'm very curious about it. I think I my drop to 18 for a few weeks to see how the plant is impacted.
I have an experiment of my own going on with TDAuto. I tried to clone from a flowering TDAuto due to a accident with the parent plant. When you get the chance, have a look.
I have never grown Auto’s,however, I have grown the Tangerine 🍊 Dream photo period and it was a beautiful strain in the end. Very fruity citrus smell to it. Are you starting to get any smell from her?

I'm following and will check in. I'm curious about how they do with 18 hours of light. I've been working with 20, and they seem to like it. I actually felt they did better with 20 vs 22 or 24.
