๐๐ดโโ ๏ธ๐... Wednesday 16/03/22(Day 29)...
Beginning of the new week for my gelatos... Today I used for the first time a pH meter and I was shocked... The pH of the solution was at 8.6.... I'm so glad I bought this meter... Using pH Down from Vitalink I brought it sown to 6.5 and I hope the girls will appreciate it... I fed them today and I also got the EC value, but to be honest I am not familiar with it yet๐ญ๐ญ
I also had a terrible accident... I try to pull the main stem sown and readjust the LST wires and it broke... So I have accidentally topped one of the girls... It was a bad topping as I lost the main stem with 2 more nodes and their colas... Anyway, the damage is done I just keep on...

EC is a better reading them PPM.
PPM can be used on a 500/640/700 scale meaning that 500ppm or 640ppm or 700ppm can all equal 1EC.
1EC is always 1EC no mater the meter.
its simple to use plug it in the nutrient solution and hit read.
can also be used to read runoff water of pot if you water till runoff.
Its great as a diagnostic tool to confirm numbers and make sure it not to weak or strong.
The device should come with a manual but also youtube has some good how to videos.
