Cracked 5 seeds in moist paper towel, then sprouted in Jiffy peat pucks. watered only once while in pucks. All 5 germinated nicely, but peat fell apart while transplanting into cups. Will have to find a way to keep temp and humidity stable. Soil is 1/3 Fox Farms Ocean Forest, 1/3 Fox Farms Planting Mix, 1/3 perlite. Light is one 600W equivalent Viparspectra LED grow light.

Added plastic sandwich bags as humidity tents, but temperature is still fluctuating from far too hot when light is on to an ok temp when it's off. Seedlings are very leggy so I have lowered the light. Added small fan and opened two tent flaps. Must remember to open and close flaps morning and night to regulate temp. Two seedlings are getting bigger faster. Replanted and buried stems deeper, hoping it wasn't too traumatic.

Added first nutrients at half strength. Undecided on training and whether to keep all plants. Noticing some very subtle but strange mottled discoloration and cupped leaves. Going to make nutrients minimal for now. Topped my three biggest plants above their fourth nodes. Will probably transplant next week and begin flowering in week 5.

Got all five replanted into smart pots. One is looking overwatered (floppy and lower leaves wilted). Hoping it bounces back but the other four look promising. All five are now topped. I stopped all nutrients because I added more FF planting mix so their soil should be enough but I'll treat any deficiencies I can see. Thinking of getting a second fan, light and maybe putting in an exhaust system. Day 27 update: all five are looking really nice. Droopiness is gone and lots of new branches coming in! These are going to be very horizontal. Super stoked today!

One more week until I switch to 12/12. Things are looking great as far as I can tell. Each plant has 4 lateral shoots and two main shoots. So hopefully we will have at least 6 flowers each. My biggest is growing pretty fast now. The other four have not caught up but are similar in size to each other. Gave some nutrients to possibly speed things up but I don't want to take too many risks. Hoping to harvest mid September. Threw out the discolored plant on day 33 because I was worried she was sick and didn't want it to spread. The other four are really healthy and I'm ok with that decision.

Switched to 12/12 flower on day 37. All four are really thriving so far! Did some light defoliation on day 38, just the lowest 4 or 5 leaves and bud sites that won't be getting any light. The two main stems of each plant have started to spread apart probably from their weight so I hope they will become thick enough to hold buds. Saw first pistils on day 41 and I am stupidly happy!

One plant is still much smaller but seems healthy and producing pistils at the same rate as the others. Defoliated the biggest light and air blocking leaves on day 45. Having an issue with humidity reaching 60%+ so I have moved my dehumidifier closer to the tent.

On day 50 I tied down the tallest stems with some wire to even out the canopy and expose more buds to light and air. Tent space looks a lot fuller now that they are all spread out, I can only imagine how snug it would have been with 5 plants. Still having a hard time with humidity but no signs of mold for now.

The LST I did last week worked great, canopy is very even and there are now tons of bud sites getting bigger. Thinking they may need some more light but I'd be battling higher temps with my light turned up in August heat. pH tester broke day 60 so I had to use solution to test, maybe pH is off a little for this watering. Day 62 update: pH is definitely off - some spots on a few leaves.

Slight hiccup with pH should be solved, new tester on the way. Temps and humidity are under control and growth of buds seems to be at a good average pace. Day 65 noticed three girls look really unhappy, leaves at the center/lower part of plant are drooping and yellowing, lots of lower leaves on one plant have died. Some leaves have dry patches and some pistils are turning orange. I then gave them a nute feeding and changed the ratio a little bit in case there is a problem there (FloraMicro has high nitrogen), and purple stems (though they have each always had a few) combined with these symptoms could be a phosphorous issue. But I think the yellowing and drooping was from underwatering (went 5 days between watering), and one plant was physically damaged because my fan fell on it last week. The sudden pistil color change was a shock but I am reading it may just be normal, maybe not the stress. They got more turgid a few hours after the watering. I really hope they bounce back. 😵

Looking much nicer since the underwatering last week, but I still have some yellow leaves. A little bit of nute burn from the last feeding so I'm going to not give nutes this week. But buds look good and sugar leaves on the bigger buds are getting frosty! Just got a microscope for trichomes. I think they'll be ready next month 😊

Things are looking good! Lots of pistils turning orange again, but I think I still have a few more weeks. Buds bulking up a bit and each plant is performing really well, good size colas on each. Trichomes are all clear.

Everything looking nice! I know harvest is still a long time away but I'm happy to have healthy plants. Not planning any changes to my set up so I'm just playing the waiting game. Trichomes are clear.

Got a calendar reminder to check trichomes today that I set at the beginning of the grow, I guess I estimated to be around harvest time now! Still a couple more weeks I think, trichomes are still about 90% clear, some cloudy and some amber on more mature buds. I'm looking for around 100% cloudy. Got some resin on my hands and the smell is very lemony and sweet. Battling a bit of heat right now. Calyxes have started swelling up. A little burn on some sugar leaves.

This is going to be my last week I think! I'll stop nutrients and keep checking trichomes until they are mostly cloudy. As of day 103 trichs are 60% cloudy. Trimmed a test bud to dry so I could get a little smoke experience while the rest cures. Trimming that little guy showed me that four plants will take a good while to trim. Smells like lemon and a little bit of diesel.

Haha just kidding about harvesting this week. Still LOTS of clear trichomes, ~40%. Leaves are yellowing all over. Will continue the flush. Don't want to harvest too soon but I am nearing a deadline. Test bud smoked well considering it dried fast, and has a subtle and slow body and head high. Slightly more head high than I like.

Very hardy, beautiful plants from Nirvana. Took quite a while to reach maturity, and still werent as mature as Id have liked, but that could have been my lights. Buds look and smell great, and it really was a pleasure to grow. Smoke is a little harsh right now but I hope a longer cure will take care of that.
