20 Feb: Seed was placed in a glass of water.
21 Feb: I tapped the seed carefully after about 20 hours and then let it sit at the bottom of the glass for another 2 hours. Then I transferred it to a wet towel.
22 Feb: I planted her in a 7.5L pot and placed it in my big tent which was already occupied by my other plant. This looks really dumb and it kind of is, but for various reasons I had to plant it right now. NOTE: The seed had barely opened when I planted it. I'm going full yolo on this one.
23 Feb: Sprayed water (about 10 sprays), no sprout
24 Feb: Sprayed water (~10 sprays), no sprout
25 Feb: Today we have a sprout, so today I will mark the seed as germinated. Starting from tomorrow I will start her first vegetative week. She will be fed only water for at least the coming 14 days.
26 Feb: Sprayed water
27 Feb: Watered very little, about 30-50ml
28 Feb (Day 1): Okay so this plant is kind of a suicide mission. The lamp is far away, and between the plant and the lamp is another plant with huge leaves, blocking any direct light. I suspect this one will grow tall and weak. I am sorry to everyone for treating a plant this way. It is an experience I can learn from though so at least there is something positive.

7 Mar (Day 8):
13 Mar: So... Yeah... It looks like our dear plant has tried its best to reach the light by growing as tall as she could, then she got to heavy for herself so now she has a weird shape, probably beyond saving. Maybe she can be saved with LST for stability and then a better source of light. But I will not do anything to repair this. If she dies then she dies.
14 Mar (Day 15): Nevermind! Today I cut off a branch from my other plant which has freed some light. I prepared this little shape that can support the weight of my plant. Sure she is probably very underdeveloped etc but I will do what I can to let he grow to her full potential.
Sorry for the bad updates and bad content. The Amnesia Haze is growing really beautifully and she looks so healthy too in my opinion! I am not measuring the nutrients very carefully. This plant has been an experiment since the beginning so I am kind of eyeballing it. I am 90% sure that I have not once yet given her more than 4ml/L of any of the specified nutrient solutions I use. I pour in a couple of milliliters and then add 1.5L of water and then feed. I then monitor the plant and the soil carefully and watching how the plant responds to its treatment instead of relying on images and statistics on the internet or in manuals. I think that growing this way is really fun, and I also feel like it is OK to do so on this plant since I gave it a horrible start and was not expecting the premium result anyways.
But yeah I think she looks like she has real potential. I can leave this plant however long I want so I will leave it until it is done flowering. I have read that Amnesia Haze is known for its long flowering period. We'll see what happens and I'm looking forward to learn more about plants until then!
I watered about 1L today and I plan to leave her without water for 2-4 days now. Talk to you soon!
WET WEIGHT: Unknown. DRY WEIGHT: 42G.
This beautiful plant was an experiment from the start, and when I was moving flowers between tents she was even damaged/fell down! But she recovered, completely! And she grew into a really beautiful plant. She smelled incredible! She looked incredible! And when I squeezed her slightly she was firm as a f***ing APPLE! All of her branches/nodes/buds looked really mature and I even inspected her using a microscope and I saw the trichomes being small snowballs, they were not transparent and they had not begun turning red, but they were white/gray! So I said, IT'S TIME! And I harvested her! I trimmed her and threw away approximately 10g of bud because they were just a tiny bit too skinny/under-developed, and I wanted only the best from this plant. It is the best harvest I have ever had, judging by how it looks, and it is the best trim I have ever performed. One branch took me 45 minutes! Then I had to go rest before going for the next branch. Eventually I was all done, and it felt just like after a hard day of work - incredible! I let her dry for 8-12 hours, then turned her 180 degrees and let her dry some more. All the small buds were dried for 48h and the rest for 72h. The harvest is currently curing and they have been curing for about 24-48h now.
I have learned A LOT from this grow. For example: Never give up on your grow! They can recover and come back stronger than ever! I have also learned that patience is key. Sometimes I grow impatient when trimming and I do a half-assed job. Well, not anymore! Now I finish one branch or even one bud, then take a break, then continue. Don't stress anything! Just imagine if those real "flower-people" would stress when growing roses for example, of course they won't look good! But the perfect rose has a lot of time and patience behind it and for perfect buds we need to think that way too, at least I will!
I will test this bud out ASAP and you will know if I like it if I start another diary with Amnesia Haze by Anaconda Seeds. We went through everything together but she still delivered. Absolutely amazing. I rate this grow 10/10.
