C4 Matic outdoors, 62 degrees north

ErbertMcGrowning This is my second try this summer, first attempt failed because of me being depressed. I have a couple of other plants as well, will add another diary if they survive. I really hope this one succeeds, I do not have high hopes however. My first 50(!) died because of neglect and no rain what so ever for a couple of weeks. This is my first time in eleven years growing outside, had a couple of Lowryder #2 then (actually fifty that time as well.) I got five grams that summer, with zero care that time as well. Enough of me being miserable, let's wait and see if this one breaks the 5 gram mark, or dies a tragic death as well. Please do not base any opinions on the genetics because of this grow, that would probably not be fair, thank you. Will begin with light feed soon, 1ml per liter biobizz grow.

ErbertMcGrowning Slightly better weather than before, I hope my little plant gets to work soon, I want to see explosive growth! :) Day 16, things are now finally starting to move along. Day 20, small black flies turn up and decides to feed off of my plants leafjuices. They did not have my permission, so I turned them in to little balls of goo. I probably did not get every single one, will keep an eye out for them. I damaged one of the cotyledons in my assault on the pests, but one slightly ruffled cotyledon is better than a million leafsucking larvae. But maybe she'll take it." Yep, she is managing, but is none too happy :D Day 21, the other cotyledon is now damaged as well, I now blame the pests, for both! The poor girl is visibly upset over the drowning attempt she was subjected to the other day, rookie mistake number one. Shame on me, I should have known better, even as I was pouring I was thinking "shit, too much." If you think I should do something other than kill the pests and wait with the water for a while, you are welcome to say so. Even if you agree with the plan, say so, I won't have to feel as guilty when/if she dies :P

ErbertMcGrowning She is now in flower, looks like she will finish in time.

ErbertMcGrowning Day 44, the plant now smells like sweet strawberries. Day 48, it now smells more like raspberries, a very slight hint of something sour as well.

ErbertMcGrowning I will stop feeding her after this week, going to chop at the end of the month. Ramping up the Top-Max to double, 2ml per liter. I feel that this may be a bit excessive at this point, but I did it anyway. Will feed like this the rest of the week. I really would have liked her to go a week or two longer, but autumn is coming,

ErbertMcGrowning Day 66, she is done. The dry weight was around 8 grams, I beat my goal of over 5 grams. :) It will last me until my other plants are done. Some of my other plants grew a lot better, even though they got less sunlight. My Green Crack plants are putting on weight, hopefully I will be able to let them continue two more weeks.
