One of the 2nd dented leaves is growing a bit to the side...
Soo yeah, being my very first grow, as y'all know, it's all about trial and error besides fine tuning the environment conditions... A bro here warned me that if the babies do not get much direct light, they will be "leggy"... now I know what that means as they are stretching so hard..... All is not lost as I just ordered the indoor grow kit and it should arrive in a couple of days... I hope that will keep me on track!
Grow Tent is here!! Now I think she's gonna shine!! let's see how it goes!
She is responding very well to the temp, light and nutes.... looks good and improving leaf mass every day... proud!!
We are always learning... I've been having the feelz that bros around here have theyr janes not bigger than mine, but wayyy more developed as in a lot more leaf mass... then, I figured, my light is just way too up, 65 cm, and that is making them stretch! moved the light to a about 25 cm and am trying to keep it cool with one fan blowing at the top, although as space is limited, Im kinda worried that it might be too windy as they wiggle a bit....
Her side branches are very developed in comparison to bubbles's, I guess that is what they mean when she is reffered to be more "branchy".
Responding very well to nutes and drinking as much as Bubble 1!
Widow does not show signs of pre-flowering, these pisitils that have appeared untill now I think are related to the "sex showing/display" fase and not pre-flowers as her bubblegum sisters have. Could be that Indicas show off differently, or later, idk.
I do know that Widow has a longer mature time so, should be that :)
Day 29 she is showing a lot more pistils now, I can feel she is going into pre-flowering, slowly.
Main cola started, not frosty yet though.
She doesn't want to stop growing, she's close to outgrowing the tent and I'm afraid I might have to do something about it.... maybe lst, I'm way too noob to try hst.... one fan leave on the main cola started to curl the edges up, I figure it's underwatering as she does drink a lot faster than the bubble! So, I'm taking more care not to dry the soil, even if it means watering every morning....
Well, she doesn't want to stop growing so I was forced to LST a bit on the main cola in order to lower the light just a tiny bit... let's see
This was a good week, she's been steadily growing her buds but she is defenently behind the others, a lot a frost is visible though... I cut off a couple of fan leaves for lower buds to get more light but there is at least one branch that is really thin and not growing
Last week I might have overdone with nutes as I had a few yellow tips, but minimal clawing, so I cut her off Bio-Grow and slightly reduced Bloom.
This has been a ride!
She is looking much more like what a White Widow is supposed to look like.
Being this my first experience, everything is new and i could compare in first hand just how different two strains can be.
Widow's branches that are most exposed to light are now looking like proper tops, sadly, a few are not that exposed as she has overgrown the tent by far and had to be trained, if only I had the experience I would LST the crap outta her but.... we all gotta start somewhere..... I'm probably not gonna grow a Widow again for the next crops....
She is going to get leggy if you don't move light closer. I would buy a good cfl and hang it 1 inch away from the top until she gets bigger (2-3 weeks).
oh, they're actually in the balcony for the moment as I will only get the grow tent next month, they get close to 10 hours of light of which about 6 are direct sunlight, next month they are moving into the dark street 60*60*120 grow tent
