1st Grow: Carrot Top Grow w/ HLG QBs

LumberjackBuds Custom strain created by a California grower and dark net vendor CannaMeds. Haven’t been able to find much more than a few google hits about it and it is probably not very widespread. Supposed to be mostly indica.

LumberjackBuds They seem to be liking that I moved the light closer! Growth looks good overall. Will be upping mute strength soon, I think that they can take a little more. And hopefully co2 bucket is working a little

LumberjackBuds They were transplanted into Fox Farms Coco Loco mixed with more perlite. I shouldn’t have to feed them for a while so until flower i probably won’t add any Soil A or B. Day 16: some weird bleaching marks occurring on some plants. I think it was light related. Plants are recovering now from transplant. Currently at max light capacity, may add another qb. Day 17: Holy shit I am such an idiot! I tried to swat a fly that had been bothering me in the Grow room and I brought the light down on 3-4 plants and broke 150 dollar QB. Plants look like they should recover but it delays topping and veg Day 20: Trying a zigzag pattern with training/topping

LumberjackBuds These gals are slowly getting those lower branches going, they are still tied down to let that light in. I’m not super happy with the speed of growth...or the soil, or the pots, lol. They need more space but the grow room got delayed. Day 26: I decided to cull #8 from the group. The mainlining is happening too slow and I snapped off one of the main branches. RIP. Might turn it into a cutting or keep growing it but it’s out of the main group for now Day 28: Moved to 3.5 gallon air pot with sunshine #4 mix, biochar, and HnG rhizoforce pellets

LumberjackBuds They are loooking pretty darn good now, I was skeptical week 3 and 4 but the lights, co2 and nutrients are doing their job. I tied them down yesterday so they could fill the pot area. In 2 weeks I think I’ll flower. Day 34: Holy shit guys are closest to the co2 and the daily growth on them is insane, I’ve been having to retrain and prune almost every day. I’m going to put them into flower today or tomorrow

LumberjackBuds I had something reeeeally detailed typed up but my iPad had a stroke. These were all growing so fast with the quantum boards and co2 that in 1 week i gained what I thought i would in multiple weeks. So I pulled the trigger iver flower otherwise the tent would be too full. My LST is what im really proud of honestly it looks like a mainlined plant. At least half the bud colas are gonna be all equally massive. Never done this whole flowering thing so I hope it doesn’t go sideways. There are 10 in the tent now and they will be joined by the straggler carrot top #8 and sundae Driver mom with the 135w hlg to keep em happy. Wish me luck and hit follow above. Day 1 post flip: Whoops! I don’t know why I didn’t listen to my intuition telling me not to use the whopping dose H&G has for flower week 1. Poor things are all looking a bit too greened out. Day 6: I adjusted the LST ties and made some new ones. Took them out of tent to water and rotate. They no longer have any horizontal space to grow so I probably have to stop new LST

LumberjackBuds Day 8: Got pretty heavy with the defoliation today, had tons of overlapping leaves and buds. On about half you can see the very beginnings of bud and cola sites with white hairs. They are growing pretty dang fast too, stems longer and collecting lots of leaves every day now. Day 10: didn’t check 2-4 at all today, was in a hurry. 1 and 5-7 got a more deliberate defoliation. Trying to only keep Top leaves now Day 12: Heavy defoliation today, some plants really needed it Day 14: Some pest, whiteflies maybe and their eggs were discovered last night. Sprayed with avid

LumberjackBuds Man flowering does seem to be happening slow. But they are getting their first white pistils and when a leaf breaks it smells dank. No outside smells yet though. Have been having some issues with bugs occasionally taking a nibble, but no outbreaks yet.
