poke_smot Third time lucky with these seeds! Glass of water then to wet paper towel and into Jiffy Pellets. Found these seeds to be very thirsty indeed. Kept pretty wet as you can see. Noticed the roots on my last attempt ran very deep very quickly in search of water but dried out and seedling died.

poke_smot Placed pellets into small Jiffy pots. Placed these pots into party cups to get closer to the light. VERY slow to get going so I lined a box with foil to increase light and mixed very small amount of Powerfeed into watering bottle. NOT spraying but pouring water directly down column once in the morning. Much darker leaves than AK47 and different shape too. I hope I have a better outcome with these!

poke_smot I like the way these are coming along. Spreading out a bit instead of shooting straight up. Maybe due to the reflected light from the side. Lovely and fresh choc-mint aroma at the moment. Moved them into clear pots approx. 1.25 litres. Ended up planting entire Jiffy pot as roots were protruding out from the bottom and sides.

poke_smot Moved into tent under new light about 400w currently. Topped a couple of these to make them a bit bushier. Still some brown edges on one plant. Otherwise looking good I think. We are pretty limited here in AU as to what nutes we can get. Just using small amount of Go GO Juice and Powerfeed in water. Need to get PH down and transplant before flowers turn up.

poke_smot Flowers coming along but have had mixed advice whether or not to be adding any nutes to these. Have added some liquid potash very small amount. Seeing some splotching and yellowing on the smaller plant's leaves! Andy advice? Moved other one outside as it is a dud. Adding a bit of vinegar to watering can to lower PH.

poke_smot It's been a rollercoaster ride with these things! As a result have missed a week of journalling. Had one plant lose all its fan leaves after the tips went brown, discovered that perlite had all bunched up in one thick later and soil was smelly and soaking wet. Same with the others so all repotted into new dry soil and perlite. Not ideal but they seem to be ok now. Plants then had to be moved into the shed because of wife's allergy to the flowers (I know, lame right). Have 500w on them for 12 hours. Ph is still high can not seem to get it down. Grow light can be seen shining under shed door so can't have it on at night because of nosy neighbours. Will move tent into shed tomorrow. Thankfully winter time here in Australia so they won't get fried in there.
