greenpager Sprouted 24 hours post-transplant into soil mix kept dark & damp with water solution from seed soak. Container is 16 oz plastic cup with holes drilled at bottom.

greenpager Moved seedling outside after 2 days in sunny windowsill.

greenpager Planted plastic cup + plant in 5g fabric pot containing FFOF sprinkled with mosquito repellent bits and diachotomaceous (sp) earth.

greenpager Plant was stretching. I added more soil. Watered w Superthrive, molasses, and [something] Mackerel.

greenpager Plant appears healthy. I attribute the relatively small/slow growth to fewer hours of sunlight exposure compared to indoor growing conditions. Water this week.

greenpager Looking back, I may have overwatered just a bit in the early weeks. Two days ago, I added to water a little Buds & Bloom, Holy Mackerel and molasses. Today one lower leaf and the 2 tiny seedling leaves show signs of distress (nutrient burn?). Topped immediately above 4th node (14 Apr). Watered only once this week with nutrient-free rainwater, but I haven't decided on nutrients for the next watering. Plant definitely appreciated a week away from watering. First hint of odor (very faint).

greenpager Plant has bushed out laterally, buds off each node.

greenpager Plant loved last watering (or else the rainwater flush the next day). With external temps above 80°, I direct an oscillating patio fan standing on screened porch about 6' away toward plant during the day. Plant moves onto screened porch every night under ceiling fan. Sprayed with Doctor Zymes Eliminator RTU twice this week after seeing more overnight thrip(?) damage on large fan leaves near bottom, THEN decided to prune away a few other fan leaves (inward facing, not attached to buds) and tuck a few others to maximize sun exposure. Gentle LST, which consists mostly of me gently pulling/bending branches downward (they stay in place for awhile). I tend to tilt plant slightly to maximixe sun exposure to interior of plant and to allow air flow under pot. Feeling good about the number of buds visible in upper half of plant. No nutes this week. Today one finger of one fan leaf has yellow specks visible from both sides of leaf. Dunno what that is and don't want to spray again before the weekend.
