22 Perp Walk

May 12: first full day outside and first foliar with Extreme Blend. Perp Walk doesn’t seem to handle cool temperatures very well…3/4 of the seedlings are small and slow. This strain is the weakest of the photoperiods started this spring, and therefore I think it’s due to the Cakewalker genetics (Cakewalker x GDP = Perp Walk) which I don’t have elsewhere. Not sure if I will bother continuing these plants.

Perp Walk doesn’t like the cool and mostly dry weather and is definitely the smallest of the various photoperiods started at the same time.

Smallest and slowest of this year’s photoperiod plants. Doesn’t handle cool weather too well. Still cool overnight hitting +1 C on June 1. No frost but pushing it.

June 24: this strain was lagging but seems to be catching up. Supercropped to finish manifold.

June 27: doing better with the warmer weather. July 3: added Gaia Green Power Bloom as top dressing.

July 12: three nights of light deprivation so far for these plants.

I was down on these Perp Walks early because they were slow and behind everybody else. They’ve since caught up and are doing fine. Transplanted last week also helps.

July 26: switched to gypsum as Ca source. July 31: added second round of Power Bloom and malt as top dressing. Started using soluble wood ash as K source. See today’s Gorilla Gelato diary entry for details.

Nice big early flowers on this strain.

Nice buds on this strain.

Sep 7: late season hailstorm shredded the older fan leaves, but the buds are okay. Sep 8: first round 255 g wet. Nice solid buds.

Sep 14: took second round 189 g wet and 444 g total so far. Sep 18: third round of 100 g wet for hash from seeded branches. Perp Walk x Blackberry Hammer worked out and produced lots of regular seeds. The cross with Blue City Diesel did not work.

Sep 21: lower buds are done. Sep 23: harvested last of two plants for 164 g wet and total 708 g wet from two plants.

I didn’t think this strain was going to work outdoors but it really came through with beautiful buds. First time using manifolded photoperiods and it worked great. These plants were force flowered in mid-July along with all the other photoperiods in the grow area.
