Culled plant. Overfeeding, over-watering, pest infestation, and fungus/mould eventually did in this plant. When I went to cut it down I saw a small pile of wood dust at the base of the plant. When I cut into the stem with dust on it I saw some kind of bug moving around. In hindsight I should have taken pictures to properly identify the bug. I don't know if I am just not seeing it but there seems to be no way on Growdiaries to close a diary without harvest.
Out of 6 female plants that I have personally seen develop, this is the only one with Red/Purple pistils. To be clear, the first visible pistils were this colour, they didn't emerge white and then change. All the bud sites on this plant display the same colour. Genetics unknown.
I have had this a few times. Its in the genetics of the strain you're growing. There are two parts of the buds that can turn color. One part is the pistils/hairs that stick out. There are several strains where the pistils turn pink or purple.
Sometimes just the pistils/hairs turn pink or purple, while the leaves and buds may still be green. Cheers!
Hey too bad it didn’t work out for you…34 C is pretty hot for cannabis, and what you’re saying about EC makes sense. Oh well, better luck next time. Cheers.
@Northern_Ent, I know it's really warm but I think if I didn't mess up the EC they would have made it through the heat. Thanks for the wishes, I have already started my next grow.
