Everything appears to be going great, much better results with Grow Dots compared to the dead of winter when I was struggling for proper humidity. Still nowhere near target for humidity, but NEXT YEAR is when I'll add humidifiers.
Plants have spent 8 days in flowering conditions. I've bumped the daytime temperatures up to 85F and the nighttime to 77F. Humidity runs around 50-55%. Using new 8 hour light / 16 hours darkness schedule and the plants are clipping along much faster into flower development. Grow Dots are continuing to pull off absolutely great results, foliage is a robust green and there are zero burnt tips or oddities. Finally cleaned the dust and dog hair off my fans and put them back in the flower room, so there's a lot more air movement.
Things seem to be going quite well, focusing on keeping the lamp distance as short as possible so I suppress stretch and end up with a dense canopy. Finally got around to putting the floor fan back in the flower room, provides enough air movement to sway the plants and keeps the AC and dehumidifier from creating microclimates.
Defoliated on days 22 and 23, everything's looking great. Hit them with Lotus Boost and a little big of extra Cal-Mag on days 14, 21 and 25. Planning on running them with just water/Grow Dots from here on out.
Have had to add a lot more stakes and support in the canopy. I've run these genetics 3x and never once had problems with the stems not being able to support the flowers. These plants do have a lot of tops, and I had one clone in week 8 unable to support her canopy before. But this started much earlier in flower. My topping-intensive training is definitely paying off. I have purchased a supplemental tank-based CO2, but am choosing not to run it until the next batch. I also recognize the need to build a scrog frame.
