Sorry I haven't been updating my diary. Too many things going on in my life and haven't had too much time to just sit down and sort everything out.
Well I am a carer for my mother full time and she recently was accompanied by her youngest sister to fly to the Philippines. My mother has been disabled since 2014 from a sever stroke which she was operated in the brain also. She normally takes her almost yearly trip and stays for 6 months. I was to accompany her but I was aiming for Christmas as my funds aren't up to par. Because my aunt offered her to go since she has her leave from work my mother agreed immediately and I had to pay for her ticket... Sets me back some months.
Anyways while she is away for maybe the next 6 months until I go out there and bring her back to London I will be finishing off this Super Silver Haze grow and squeezing in one more grow before I have my vacation.
So I have photos of the past weeks somewhere but I have to sort them out somehow. So I will update with tonight's photos.
They have been flushing now for 14 days but I reckon these plants still have another week if not a few more days until they are ready to the eye.
New hairs were shooting out and foxtails appeared. The recent weather here was really hot and I have tried my best to keep the temperature down and have lowered the light intensity and have dimmed my lights back really low.
The light schedule was tweaked to 11/13 on/off to try and speed things up but the plants starting throwing more new white hairs but has slowed down.
I didn't plan to flush super long but these just aren't finishing yet and I hope the extra flush time doesn't affect the final flavour in being bland if it can ever get to that point?
I'm trying to dry the substrates back a lot and have dropped the amount of water I give. So infrequent waterings to help them think it's nearing the end and to help keep some weight when I cut and dry them. I do not want too much water content when I harvest.
I think I will be harvesting by next week sometime and then I can relax for 2 weeks.
