Week 6. Flowering

Flowering starts! The plant is very tiny with only few leaves. I think this is due to the poor weather we had in the last 4 weeks (rainy and cloudy most of the time). I hope it will grow more

Flowering continues. Some leaves showed some brown tips, I will monitor what happens. One small leaf also had some brown spots, so I removed. I am not giving her any nuts (besides some banana tea), perhaps some deficiencies. I will consider buying some organic nuts

Weather is good, sunny and warm. She enjoys spending days and nights on the balcony. Leaves still have some burnt tips, but looking overall healthy and happy. I started measuring her as I am not sure she is still growing or not. Now we are at 36 cm. Really a dwarf... I purchased some Biobizz nutrients, I will start feeding her from next week

Weather this week is worse than in the previous weeks, with lower temperature and cloudy ski.y Hopefully the sun will be back next week. More leaves have turned yellow, I really think this is a Nitrogen deficiency. Let's see if the Biobizz nutrients will fix this.

Weather still poor, but she is flowering nicely. Still worried by the yellowish colour of some leaves

Some leaves have been turning yellow. Especially the lower ones. I thought it was a nitrogen deficiency as I didn't give the plant any nutrients till 2 weeks ago. Now I am feeding her with Biobizz nutrients according to their table. Should I be worried? Any recommendations?

I don't c where it has 2 weeks left. It's only flowering 4 weeks. RQS are long haul autos, we'll most of them are. 10-12 wks. Most autos, fems flower in or around 40-60+ days. After looking at your plant it looks grand. As for the biobizz table. Hmmm, they only really are used as guides. If you feel your plant needs more or less give so according. Focus on micro nutrients and an NPK of 1-3-5 for mid-late flowering. Good luck bro.

Flowering continues despite cloudy weather and too cold temperatures. I took some close-up photos of the main bud with the maximum magnification of my mobile phone's camera (4x). The trichomes can be seen quite well. I'll start monitoring how they develop to understand when the right time for harvest comes. I keep wondering how far we are still from the harvest. I don't have any magnifying glass or loupe to look at the trichomes with higher magnification, I guess I will have to do some guessing. The fan leaves are still pretty up under direct sunlight, so far no strong sign of yellowing or dying. From my questions about growing last week, she could still have 3 or 4 weeks left to harvest. I might stop giving her nutrients and start flushing in 2 weeks or so. And hopefully the buds will keep growing in the meantime ...

Last days were very hot, but thickening of the buds continued quite a lot. I am not sure she's ready for harvesting yet and I don't know if I should start flushing or still give nutrients this week. So far I could not spot signs of amber trichomes. I have to add that my balcony got infested with spider mites (a second younger plant got strongly affected, this one not much), I am thinking about whether to take it down in a week or so. I will post a grow question UPDATE: based on my grow question, I decided I will start harvesting this coming weekend. I don't want to risk to have a stronger infestation. I haven't given her any nutrients but only plain water for the last 10 days. Just waiting few more days for the soil to dry a bit more

Any ideas about when to harvest? I only have available pictures taken with my phone with a magnifier app. Maybe some amber trichomes, maybe not. The plant is now 92 days old, pistils are mostly purple and, bad news, some spider mites started attacking her 🤬

well if you have an infestation going there is nothing you can do but to salvage what you can. at this late stage you cant really battle them and you dont want to smoke spider mite eggs right? if there was not spider mite problem i’d suggest 1-2 weeks more but at this point cut and run!

The Royal Dwarf stayed very small, less than 40 cm. I guess I started growing her too early (mid-March) and it didn't get enough light during the first 3-4 weeks. It finally gave buds which are dense and aromatic with loads of thricomes. Total yield for this plant was 14 g (wet), will update the amount after drying is completed. The plant basically consisted of 1 main bud and few smaller ones. I guess some LST can improve the yield by making the side buds larger. I harvested 100 days after sprouting, so it took a longer that what reported by the breeder (6-8 weeks, but I guess this is only possible with ideal indoor conditions). I could have waited for 1 more week, but I had issue with spider mites and decided not to wait any longer. I started with nutrients very late, but definitely this strain needs to be fed over the whole life cycle.
