Picture Date: 4/1/22
Survival Rate: 5/6
Disclaimer: (I had 15 seeds germinating over a 2 week period, so may or may not be M.O.H - They all look the same at this stage so we cares lol 😅
First grow in nearly 10 years, haven’t had space in years - Now I am making up for loss time with a multi-strain grow. (I may do an additional diary for my other strains such as Phantom OG & Jack Here - comment if you care for it :D
This is also my first grow using organic nutrient line Nectar For The Gods.. Shout out to Scott Ostrander!!
Note: The next week I update WILL be M.O.H for certain!
Pictures taken 5/18 (Today) - I will be consistent from this point forward on the progress
Plants officially potted between 4/21-4/24, so I am almost certain the initial week 1 photo was NOT Made of Honor - SORRY! LOL
PH meter was off by an entire +1. So my water was extremely acidic (I thought 6.6 but really was about 5.6) ☹️
had luck in the past with the cheap PH meters but I’ve officially upgraded.
As a correcting solution, I was only using water and Herculean harvest at a ph of 7.3 to raise the soil PH while giving them access to a base source of food, and once my slurry came back between 6.2-6.9 I am a lot less stressed - and so are the ladies 🙂
The environment is stabilized now.
The slurries are coming back great, and the ladies are green!
Finally got my SLF, and the ladies perked up nicely - so Greek feeding will begin on the next watering, then it’s time to tweak it a bit 🙂
They’re now in a temporary environment until I can get a new flowering tent for the other girls (Phantom OG + Knows Candy + Sweet Tooth) in a few weeks, then they’ll have a permanent home.
The tall one has been selected to be the mama bear of the M.O.H’s, very resilient!
They’re continuing to enjoy feeding, they started to all balance out in height and begin producing more vegetation. I also topped the mother and got a strong clone, adding to my next batch.
We’ll continue the progress until the flower date of 6/25. Stay tuned!
2 days late this week, my apologies!
Pretty much a repeat of the previous week with some nice vegetation coming in.
All are looking healthy and growing excessively tall, I think I’ve found the sweet spot on intake at the moment so feeding will remain the same.
The MOH clone just went into a Pot and I plan on topping the other 4 potentially next week. Stay tuned!
Topped the other 4 girls a little late, hoping for some strong clones!
it seems the Made of Honor is a strain that definitely needs to be topped.
Comparing the topped MOH to the un-topped girls, the vegetation is quite noticeably different.
7/1 is the flower date so hopefully we get some good production over the next few weeks! :-)
This week I transplanted the 2 biggest phenos to 5 gallon pots, they have completely blew up since!
The breeding company definitely told the truth when stating this plant will be tall, light training will be needed.
I’ve topped 4-5 of them, leaving one to produce a nostalgic fat cola ha.
More to come!
We’re getting very close to the flowering date. Originally I was going to put them in on week 8 but pushed it back 2 weeks since the Phantom OG’s aren’t out of the flower tent yet.
Anyway, things are going great! Almost want to take a samurai sword to half the plants they’re so tall lol - Took 4 clones from the girls and intend on taking a few more to keep their heights down, put another one into a 5 gallon pot, and started pumping late veg a bit harder than advised. Taking it pretty well!
It’s 2:37am, July 4th.
As much as I’d like to take these girls out of the tent, I can’t muster the energy ha apologies.
Anyway, 7/2 marked the day that 4 M.O.H’s and 2 Jack Herer’s were taken out of my “struggle veg area” and put into a better environment for flower. (4x4 tent with 400w Viperspectra LED)
As I said before, these things are TALL! Haha
I clipped another 7 clones prior to switching to flower, all super healthy.
I really need to get some better ventilation among other things going, but working with what I have for now but we’ll get there guys! :)
Thanks for tuning in!
The girls look amazing.
Slurries show everything is within range and it’s reflecting that in all of the new growth from top to bottom, and all leaves are praising the heavens!
Just got some nets hooked up to control the height. I need new hangers because the light won’t go up any higher and there’s still a good 4ft clearance from the top of the tent.
I imagine these are going to be around 6ft tall if grown without any bending/light training/topping.
I’m so excited for what the future holds guys! Stay tuned, til the next episode 😎
Just another day for you and me in paradise!
Things are going great! Only thing that’s changed is the feeding, they’ve become a bit more aggressive as the PPM’s started to drift downward on the “Slurry Thursday” test.
The Jack Herer is a different story, but thank the heavens this diary isn’t about those girls 😄
I won’t be able to remove them from the tent anymore as they’ve become interlocked with the netting, so hopefully you guys can bear with the color pigmentation
Carbon Filter has been set up and the temps are more stabilized. I’ll work on getting another in-line fan but I am far from rich haha
Catch you guys later! I’m gonna go watch the OCGFAM show now 🙂🍀
Height seems to have topped out (for now) at around 50 inches, and my gosh have the trichomes came popping out as we head into week 4 it’s beautiful!
I have a trip I have to take next month so I need to automate watering, plants won’t enjoy 4 days of no food but we’ll see how that goes!
Til the next episode 💨
We’re back again fellow growers! How ya been?
Tried something different this time around with the pics since ya can’t really see much plant color with the purple lighting ha
One new discovery I’ve made with the last slurry is these girls are getting HUNGRY - Feeding is at an all time high - but that may have something to do with a freaking 10 week veg 😂😂😂
Also I accidentally bumped a nug as I was bending some stems around and my god.. the smell emanating from these girls is AMAZING! 10 years ago I would have just squeezed a nug, now I know that’s not the best to do lol
Speaking of the past - Does anyone else kinda miss the classic undercover nature of growing from the days old?
Where you were watching a guy with a mask & sunglasses on YouTube at 2am climbing in his closet with a bottle of big bloom?
Or Chubbs with his late night dabs and stories? (Still remember when he got in that road rage fight years ago) INSANE.
Those were the times!
Make sure you catch the short video, until next time - I’m out boys!
Flush has begun, for the Jack Herer as well surprisingly (sorry no diary on J.H)
The stems are struggling to support the tits on these ladies like a skinny woman with double D’s ha
Anyway I think this has been a great run.
I have another batch of 8-10 that just started flowering a few weeks ago, so be on the lookout for a Phantom OG/Jack Herer/Made of Honor Diary coming soon.
I also have a nice Platinum Gelato who I’ll be starting a diary on prior to switching to flower.
Trying to get some content to you guys, I have over a decade of growing to make up for..
Until next time!
Made a video, won’t let me upload so I’m just snipping picks from it
I had cut down one of the jacks and MOH’s a bit early - I have too many giants who HAVE to go into flower or my environment won’t be sustainable - My other 4x4 tent isn’t “fully” functional yet.
Anyway - waiting game continues for the rest, but we’ll be able to test a bit of this early which is kind of nice.
Best I can do for Drying tent is 68F/60-61%RH. Wish I could get it at least down to 55% but it is what it is, working with what we have!
Alright boys! Until the next time,
After not growing for almost a decade, it’s absolutely nostalgic and somewhat of an emotional moment to finally finish a grow again.
I never thought I’d ever be able to do it again, But it feels really good after all this time and I appreciate all you joined me on this journey.
I’ll be back soon; very soon! Stay tuned :)
