This week I put the plant in the final pot. Then I tried hard to kill her. First I accidentally pierced a leaf Then broke 2 leaves with a vacuum cleaner 😭 But she managed somehow to survive

Started with Low Stress Training (LST). I will try to have her grow in a spiral and test if this improves the growth of the lateral buds. The plant seems to be responding well to the LST, although 1 leave is dying. Let's see how it develops... She is not growing very fast, but I think this is mainly because of the weather. Weather conditions suck unfortunately, little sun and cold temperatures. She is staying inside during the night and on the balcony during the day

Leaves are growing, but started developing some spots. Not sure if I am giving her too many nutrients (biobizz bio grow 1 ml/l once or twice a wee). I am planning to do some more LST of the top when the internodal distance increases a bit more

I noted the appearance of some white spots on the leaves. Only the top part of the leaves seems to be affected, I cannot see anything on the bottom surface. I am giving her nutrients (biobizz bio grow 1ml/l, every 4-6 days), so I guess this is not a deficiency. Any ideas?

No eggs, eggs are almost everytime under the leafs. I think you don't have to worry about it, but you can buy a spray like Canna cure, i really like to use it. I kills and prevents all kinds of insects, funges, molts, It even has some good nutrients in it for your leafs :) Good luck growing :)

Beginning of week 7 and pre-flowering. Spotted the first white pistils on say 43 from sprouting. Pretty much the same as for the other Royal Dwarf plant I am growing. Despite being Dutch-Spanish, these RQS autoflowering seeds are as punctual as a Swiss watch 😂 Weather has been good recently with plenty of sun and warm temperatures. Leaves are not looking super nice. It might be because of fungus gnats which are unfortunately really a plague where I leave (note the yellow cards covered with black mosquitos in most of my pictures)

I went on vacation for 1 week and came back to find an infestation from spider mites. The white spots I noted previously were just the first sign of the infestation, which got much worse during my absence. I started by removing eggs which I found below the leaves (water, kitchen soap, a bit of vinegar) and I am waiting for the delivery of a bottle of Cannacure. I hope it will help to recover from the infestation. Very sad to find this poor plant in such a distress. Meanwhile she's been growing thanks to warm and sunny days and flowering continues

As the title says - my plant affected by what I think is an infestation of spider mites. I will treat the leaves with Cannacure as soon as I receive it in 2 days and I started with some home made solution of kitchen soap and vinegar. Safe to use other chemicals? Any experience?

neemazal is a good option and considered safe for organic farming and consumable plants. it’ll help with your fight. they’re small so you can wipe the leaves and the stems with a weak alcohol solution as well. if you can you can even dunk the plant in water and give it good wash. manually removing pests is the fastest way to reduce their populations. then be vigilant and check regularly and keep spraying it with neemazal. neemazal is a water based extraction of neem seed. it has the active compound azadirachtin which disturbs sucking pests feeding ability and reproduction. now azadirachtin will stay in the plant for a while so i’d advise to stop applying it 3-4 weeks before harvest (not because its dangerous but it is somewhat linked to a syndrome which prolonged smoking of cannabis containing azadirachtin causes cramps and nausea and stuff). but it is theoratically safe to ingest. anyway that was my two cents.

Flowering proceeds. Days are long and warm (perhaps a bit too warm...). Overall the plant is doing OK, but she still has some big problems concerning leaves. Spider mites and or thrips keep eating leaves. I am spraying Cannacure every 2-3 days and the situation seems to be under control for now. I am continuing my newbie LST experiments. The goal is to expose the flowers below the top one to air and light as much as I can.

Week 11 in progress. Everything going fine. Weather is nice and not excessively hot. She is flowering nice, also on the sides. I am trying to do more and more LST to expose the bottom flowers to air and sun, hoping they will grow nicely. I keep finding and killing small parasites on the leaves but the situation is hopefully under control and canna cure is helping to protect the fan leaves.

Good weather and flowering continues. We have started the 5th flowering week. Leaves are still being eaten by parasites, I'll keep spraying them with canna cure. Flower smells nice!

Thickening of the buds is in progress and smell also became more intense. Weather is OK, perhaps a bit too hot on my balcony, but she seems to enjoy the summer 😉 Only issues are parasites damaging leaves, also the lower sugar leaves, and I cannot really get rid of them. She has at least 1 more month to go, l am doing my best to contain the infestation.

Went on vacation for 2 weeks and found it in rather good conditions when coming back. The plan is basically one big bud, so it looks I sort of succeeded with my LST experiment. Fan leaves are not looking great but she's getting ready for harvest. We are at more than 100 days, but still pistils are still white and trichomes look clear. I guess we still have at least 2 weeks to go.

Final week. Pistils are mostly purple, leaves turned yellow, thricomes are turning Amber. Time for harvest! The plant is super compact and thanks to my improvised LST I basically made a single big and dense bud. I will post more pictures after trimming. Likely in a few days

Overall I made few mistakes and experiments with this plant. First I pierced a leaf when it was just a few days hold, then it got vacuum cleaned and got a thrip infestation. I decided to experiment with low stress training, which sort of succeeded since the plant ended up being practically a single big bud. Smell has been nice over the whole growth cycle. The plant stayed very small similarly to 2 other plants of the same strain I have been growing. But still it was lot of fun to grow this strain on my balcony and I am looking forward to smoking my produce!
