<5/22> I really wanted to try this genetic after seeing the amazing results and reviews. Plus, I really love a good sativa hybrid. Soaked in RO water and hydrogen peroxide for 48 hours and then planted directly into coco. I definitely should have planted after 24 hours into the soak since they showed taproot very early and one of the seedlings started sprouting leaves outside the shell. Regardless, both seedlings are doing great. The pics are from 48 hours after planting. I spritz the seedlings daily with the same RO/H2O2 mixture. <5/24> XXX#2 had her leaf-tips turn yellow out of nowhere. I really havent treated this seedling any differently than the others, either. The one thing I did differently on this seedling is apply a 5% neem-oil/95% water mist to the base of the soil, since I noticed a gnat in her humidity dome. I am guessing the yellowing is being caused by stress from the gnat or the neem-oil. Regardless, I am hoping she pulls through whatever the hell is going on. I gave her the first real feeding today @ 350ppm. Just a little splash. <5/25> XXX#2 now has brown/dead leaf-tips where it was yellow, but is finally showing some new growth after appearing to be stagnant. Im thinking she will pull through. I also carefully removed the seed shell and casing from the stem of the XXX#2 today. It is possible that the pinching/squeezing of the seed was causing her stress.

<5/26> THESE POOR BABIES!!! Lets just say I am extremely rusty from not growing for a while. Plus I'm a newbie in general. But man did I mess this one up! While I was treating these ladies like they were hungry, the complete opposite was true. These ladies were getting absolutely fried in this potting mix. Big oops on my part. I flushed these ladies with RO water and Blue Planet Myco until their runoff was around 80ppm... FROM 600PPM!!! These girls were fried. Recovering and living. But fried.

-6/12- Well. 21 days old and looking like 14 days... These plants have (mostly) somehow survived my rollercoaster of care. A lot has happened in the past couple weeks. I transplanted these plants since they were showing signs of overwatering and the substrate wouldnt dry out, even after 3 days. I really didnt give them much water either. These XXX girls are chugging along. #2 is still stressing from being overwatered with twisted growth, but #1 seems to be taking off. I have started a light feeding of around 250-300 ppm on feeding days and about 50-80ppm on watering days, switching every 48 hours. To help prevent stress from overwatering, Ive been tweaking the amount of water I give them. Tent temps have hit 82°, with hotter temps directly under the lights. They seem mostly unaffected by the heat.

-6/30- 39 days from sprout Its been a crazy couple of weeks!! These plants stayed small because i waited way too long to send in plant samples for sexing and kept them in their small pots. They needed water daily and drank like crazy. 9 out of the 10 regs turned out to be female.... so that means 11 females in total. Guess I am doing an SOG then. Too bad I only had 3 gallon fabric pots and nothing smaller. Oh and I also topped the plants about 9 days ago. I transplanted these ladies six days ago into FoxFarm CocoLoco. Immediately after transplant, I fed them at 600ppm with little to no runoff. 48 hours later when I watered with RO and calmag to 80ppm, I was getting runoff ppms of 2400.... and I could already visibly see nute lockout with calcium and magnesium deficiencies, along with just looking really hungry. I flushed each pot with about 3 gallons of RO water to bring the runoff ppm to 400-600. After that, i gave them RO water with calmag to 100ppm and noticed them perk up immediately but still looked really hungry. After feeding them yesterday again at 600ppm, these ladies are really starting to perk up and grow a bit. Finally!!! These XXX ladies look stronger and healthier than the rest. In about a week or so when these ladies fill in, I will be taking clones of each plant and flipping to flower.

-7/5- 3 days into 12/12. I couldnt wait any longer to flip, although I still don't have a cloner and extra tent delivered. I hope to take clones in the next few days, but it may be longer than that. I am going to be using an aero-cloner with rooting hormone and clone nutes. Its honestly a bit crowded in the tent. These ladies have grown a few inches per day and really spread out recently. Recently the PPMs are higher coming out than going in. I honestly havent fed over 600PPM and keep getting runoff over 1200 PPM. I feed twice per week max, so this isnt adding up. I may need to flush again tomorrow, but this may also be an issue of overwatering. Maybe whatever nutes left in the CocoLoco is causing it to spike?... Regardless of the issues, the XXX ladies are SHINING. Huge fan leaves, bulky stalks, stronger and faster overall growth. They are already getting a funky stank to them. I forsee these ladies overtaking their neighbors. -7/7- day5 XXX #1 is drinking like crazy but not eating as much as the other ladies. Runoff PPMs of 800 with no visible deficiencies. #1 is also showing extremely blue fan-leaves on her oldest growth so I am watching her daily for other signs of N-tox. These ladies are still exploding. Feedings have gone no higher than 320 PPM. Watering days have consisted of Calmag and micro nutes to 140-180ppm. I am giving them a foliar feeding of FOOP tonight and see how they react. After giving each plant a heavy defoliation on the lower 1/3 of the plant, I noticed a deep gassy smell mixed with a lil body odor stank. They both smell very similar right now, and are growing almost identically. -7/10- Took clones two days ago, I have a feeling this genetic will clone well. These ladies didnt skip a beat, and they STINK! Day8 of flower and they just stink so bad. Originally they stunk like an armpit mixed with deep gas, now there is more of an acidic tinge. Compared to the other ladies, this genetic is standing out in terms of growth and stank so far. Its been a full-time job trying to keep up with all the ladies in the tent. The XXX ladies are drinking much more water than the others, so its been a PITA trying to keep them all happy. My back has been angry with the amount of reaching and pot-lifting ive been doing to judge how dry the ladies are.

-7/14- These ladies have a super impressive shape. I feel like this genetic is great in SOG with how vertically they grow instead of laterally. These ladies are showing preflowers after stretching close to a foot. I delofiated the lower 60% of the ladies today. The smells were intoxicating and still smells dominantly rich/gassy. I am now catching tinges of candy and citrus-acidity. Love it. These ladies have been too easy to take care of so far. I have a feeling that I will be keeping this genetic in the rotation for a minute. The clones are close to rooting at 5 days since cutting!

--7/20-- Day18 After a very difficult week, these ladies are thriving and stinking! Unfortunately half the tent hermed, so I am down to 6 plants from 11. All four Secret Kush Mints hermed and one Secret Sunset pheno hermed. Big bummer because it's too late for any sort of training, as all plants are tall but not wide at all. I essentially went from a packed SOG with plants crammed next to each other, to a very open tent. In other words, these XXX phenos are tall plants with not much lateral growth, and it's too late to fill any sort of decent canopy. These ladies are now the smallest in the tent, with the Secret Sunset exploding more and more every day. Both of these ladies are at a perfect height of 24in and seemed to have stopped stretching and switched to focusing on bud size. I have now struggled to keep the feeding PPMs above 900 while running RO water, as these ladies are getting HUNGRY with a low runoff PPM. They aren't showing any deficiencies though so I will just keep chugging along and feeding at 900.

-7/25- Day23 These ladies are starting to frost up and thicken up the baby-buds. They have been eating everything that I've been giving them and showing no deficiencies. However #2 is getting stressed and burnt from the light, who is only a few inches taller than #1. She is getting purple/brown spots between leaf-veins and burnt edges. I have moved the lights up to 16in with about 75-80% power down from 100%. I think these lights might be a bit much for these ladies, but thankfully they are short enough where I can make adjustments. High temps also played a part in the light-stress as some of the affected leaves have started to 'taco' slightly. At this point it looks like the XXXs are over a week ahead of the other ladies in the tent in terms of flower phase. Ps I also moved the ladies around to adjust for their height differences. --7/29-- D27 #2 and her clones smell like Hawaiian punch. #1 smells similar but also more piney/spicy. Both plants have been recovering from the light stress but the burnt bits do not look pretty. Thankfully I adjusted the lights quickly. I also noticed that both clones have been reaching away from the light due to light stress. I am nervous to see how they react to the secondary-optic blurple LEDs in the long-run. Both plants are getting very chunky and starting to really frost up. I can't believe this is how these ladies look so early, making me think they are near their halfway point. Both plants have a runoff PPM of 1200-1400 with 600ppm going in. They look a little sunburnt, but enjoying life nonetheless.

--8/3-- D32 #2 has her first orange hairs. Both phenos are frosting and bulking up like crazy. I can tell I'll be keeping these around with how quick and chunky these ladies are. Both ladies smell very similar so it'll be interesting to see the difference in late flower, cure, and then from clone. They are drinking more water now and are bone dry after 36 hours. I did some light defol today to open up the lower canopy. Still no signs of deficiencies or toxicities besides the light burn which stopped quick. I love these ladies. They are at least two weeks ahead of the other four plants in the tent. Smooooooth sailing 😎

--8/11-- D40 These ladies are SO BEAUTIFUL! Their appearance is only outdone by their smell. #2 is smelling like fruit punch but tropical. #1 is smelling less punch-like now, with an added lemon/pine/gas. #1 is getting super chunky still, with purple tinges on the tops. #2 is getting more fox-taily already, but still chunky lol Runoff was on the high side, so I skipped feeding for two lowppm feedings. PH has always been a perfect 5.9-6.0. These ladies still look happy, but almost seem slightly stressed from the light yet. I'm guessing these are the burnt parts I failed to notice and am noticing them now. Sad and Bad news... One of the plants from another breeder that I was keeping an eye on ended up busting a nut yesterday...I was amazed by the amount of pollen that dropped from one calyx/ball... I misted all the lowers of that plant and the Xxx#2 next to it with water, but I am guessing it is too late. I will be hoping and praying that these XXX ladies are minorly affected at the most. I just flipped the clone tent to 12/12, so I may need to chuck the other genetics if they keep throwing balls. These XXX ladies are too beautiful to be pollinated by other herms :(

--8/17-- D46 Smooth sailing, fingers crossed that the pollen hasn't done much of anything to these ladies. It's been a week since the incident and I never noticed a huge surge in brown hairs or abnormal swelling so far. I've been overfeeding these ladies and will be flushing and lowering PPMs over the next week. Thankfully they haven't been affected too badly, although some sugar leaves are starting to turn yellow on the edges. They handled the high PPM very well, as I think this has been happening for over a week now. Getting some purple on the tops! These ladies continue to amaze me. A huge part of me wants to ditch the other genetics and just fill a whole tent with these ladies, but the variety is nice. Getting chunkier and getting frostier!

--8/24-- D53 of flower Well, these ladies look like they could be chopped any day now. Ive been working on gradually bringing the PPMs down on both ladies as they approach the finish line. #1 looks like she is a couple days ahead of #2. Its official. These are the most beautiful plants I've ever grown. I mentioned it before, but this is MY FIRST PHOTO GROW and really only my 5th grow ever. I still have no idea what Im doing and I got results like these. Crazy lol The fruit punch smell on #1 makes me drool. It has a tropical tinge that hopefully sticks through cure. #2 seems more musty and gassy now with lemon/acid. Such chunky, sexy ladies. These pics will never do justice. Chopping VERY SOON.

--9/9-- Ive had my hands super full, but I did end up chopping these ladies on Day60, which was definitely early now that ive questioned my actions. #1 was 80% cloudy with 10% amber while #2 was roughly 70% cloudy with 5% amber. I got super impatient and got carried away, live and learn. Next time I'm waiting a week from the point of thinking theyre ready. By no means will it ruin this harvest, but i know i will push the clones a bit further. Speaking of the clones.... my noob self decided to flower them when they were in the middle of reveg. Big fail. However I have some 4th-week flower cuttings from the 2 phenos that I will be filling the tent with soon. It will be a process to get the clones to reveg, but it will be worth it. Excuse the bad pics of the harvest. I was more focused on harvesting the ladies lol In 5 days or so, Ill be going to trimjail before throwing it in grove-bags! Then a minimum of 2-3weeks of curing :) Ive been keeping the drying conditions from 55-63% RH and 62-67°F. Ive noticed so far that #1 is much more terpy and loud than #2. Hopefully #2 gets back some nose in the cure. The fan-leaves of #1 smell like tropical punch after the 9 day dry. Yum ---9/22--- Today marks Day9 of cure for #1 and Day8 of #2. I plan on trying a tiny bit of the flower on day14 to see how much longer I need on each strain. #1 is still loud n sour tropical-punch heavy while #2 is developing a sweet, gassy nose with a hint of lemon. Of course, this nose report is coming from the TRIM, since I sealed the bags for the actual flower. Final weight of #1 is 58g and #2 is 74g. Unfortunately it looks like #2 did get seeded a bit from the pollen explosion. Not many mature seeds though, and not more than a dozen seeds on the plant(that i could see). #1 also had a premature seed or two, and also had a single banana coming out of the lowest branch's top-bud.
