I lost one girl while they were in the other tent. I screwed with my flood heights one day and she didn't get any moisture and she curled over and died. Shortly there after I switched my flood and drain to a top feed and moved the Amnesia Haze to the veg tent. I weigh 14 grams of Maxibloom and put it in 1 gallon of R.O. Water for feed. I don't check the EC and I don't pH it. I then put this in a pump sprayer and spray 2 times per light cycle. This has made my vegging stage a whole lot simpler. I wasted about 5-6 weeks on these girls trying to grow them in my flower tent along side plants that were much older with feed too strong for them.
Time to see some flower power. If I learned anything by the end of this grow it was that I don't need to feed more than 1.1 - 1.2 EC in early flower. When the plants are in the veg cycle they are in a ebb and flow table set up. For some reason I am able to feed my plants about twice the EC they can handle in my flower tent. The difference is when they get to the flower tent the are on a top drip system compared to flood and drain in veg. Veg EC is 2.4 in the Ebb and flow and about 1.2 in the top drip irrigation. Both phases of plant life I am using clay pebbles or Hydroton.
Soon, she will have all the space she needs. The rest of the tent is on day 45 of flower. I ran everything too hot. I should have backed off my nutes and let these plants settle in.
Shes all alone for now. I had to pull out the yoyos for a couple of limbs. I use yoyo's instead of trellis so it is easier to remove the plants if needed.
In hindsight, I should have probably fed her less and left more leaves on her. I think maybe I was a bit too aggressive with her. This was the first time I tried a haze. It was hard to figure out because I thought It would be completely different than my Indica dominant strains that I have been growing.
Lowered the EC a bit from past grows and due to the fact that she started flowering while the rest of my tent was finishing, she dod fairly well. She'll be an easy trimmer with hardly any extra leaf mass. She smells wonderful.
This was seed 2 of 3. Running her until 30-40% amber. Hopefully she doesn't take much longer. This is supposed to he a shorter length of flower than the 12 week varieties.
