Summary: Coming at the end of the week 7/21(1.1a/6b): The first leaves on A are getting bigger every day, and it has a small set of second leaves with a teeny set of leaves growing in under those. B has a small set of leaves too. They seem to have responded well to the increased water. Both plants seem to be shooting up tonight! I have been watering more at once and less over time. Moved light to 19”. Both plants measured roughly 1 3/4”! Plant B was really pointing its leaves up. A was looking happy too 7/22(1.2a/7b): A looks great! It’s growing 6 new leaves! B is growing two new leaves but one looks shriveled or something. I made a soil mix of soil, earth worm casting, Lang, and blood meal. Lang and blood mixed in at 1/5th the recommended amount then divided among both plants so both get a 10%~ dose of nitrogen and potassium 7/23(1.3a/1.1b): A is hitting a growth spurt, two sets of 3 fingered fan leaves are growing fast! B looks happy but growing slowly. I feel like A was much further along at that point. I gave them both lots of water as it was already dry after giving more than usual yesterday. let’s see if they respond well to extra extra water. 7/24(1.4a/1.2b): A is continuing to grow noticeably every day. B is slowly rolling along, that one leaf looks to be growing but still looks odd. A is at 1 7/8” and B at 1 1/2” 7/25(1.5a/1.3b): I gave both A and B 4oz of water. It looked like a good amount, it was just enough to create a little bit of run off from the drain holes. 7/26(1.6a/1.4b): B is finally starting to grow its first set of 3 fingered fan leafs! A has so many new leaves I’m losing track lol, it seems every time I look at A there is some new growth coming in. Both plants seem to be happy with the little nutrients I gave on 7/22 . I am going to amend the top layer of soil with some more at a higher dosage when I water tonight or tomorrow. I amended the soil with a top layer mixture of earth worm casting, Langbeinite for potassium, and blood meal for nitrogen. I did 1tsp of each and divided it among both plants for a ~50% dose. I watered it in with 4oz of water for A and about 5oz for B because the 4oz did not create any run off. Ph of run off was 6.28
