Better late than never- All auto-flowering plants were started in the month of May, during this time I (TOH) was very sick and unable to get these diaries started. Out of respect to the breeders along with the companies that supplied these seeds we would like to show our gratitude be sharing their growth, I apologize for the lack of pictures and the time that it has taken for me to get the diary logs started. From here and now on, we grow.
Bring on the Cheese Please!!!
Our little Cheese is taking her time but sometimes that is how you win the race, so far she is doing well and we hope she maintains it. A little dose of dried coffee may perk her up, maybe it will help her pick up the pace too!
Beautiful weather and a week without issues, that is the all around report!
The top dress along with Bokashi was applied and a rain barrel treat was shared to all once this week with a mix of Hygrozyme and Hyshield, it seemed to be very much enjoyed. A good spray of NForce helped with the aphids along with the stink bugs that were threatening to take over the gardens and Optic foliar spray was applied once a few days later, so far we are happily growing!
We have been watering daily to keep things moist, on the hotter days it has both morning and night.
This one is a tiny little girl!
No issues to report this week, we had a good hard rain yesterday and it was surely enjoyed. The top dress along with Bokashi have been once again applied and the watering is a daily chore although the rain helped out yesterday. The rain barrel was used to brew the Tea for three days which was a combination of 444, Bokashi, Cal mag and microbial mass. It was shared to all our ladies and it was also very much enjoyed, as always!
We have found that a good cold tap water spray not only kills the powdery mildew but also clears away the bugs, we will do this when needed but thankfully the autos do not seem to be under attack. Holding steady we continue to grow as does our garden!
Note- Hose down this evening!
Well, what can we say. You win some, you lose some. This girl had an interruption at the beginning of her life and she was not able to recover from lost time. The nuggets are quite pretty although the mildew is an issue for her, we will do our wash as always but this one will be tough to clean up.
This little girl did the best that she could but unfortunately she could not pull herself together after having such a tough start. (While in the greenhouse back in May we had a severe storm that blew everything over, this little sprout was found out of her cup and on the ground under a skid but she managed to survive.) It is unfortunate because we would have liked to see her grow without any setbacks but that was not how it went for her. We did manage to get her cleaned up in the wash but for her, the estimated weight seems almost accurate.
