I've made a small hydropnic set up. Two plastic 2.5 gallon buckets, an aquarium air pump, two air stones, and two 10 inch net pots that fit perfectly on the buckets (each filled with clay pellets). I never tried a hydroponic setup before, because I thought the cost was too high. This little set up only cost me 25 dollars for the pellets, net pots, aquarium pump, air stones, and tubing. We'll see how it goes. If I'm happy with the results maybe I'll invest in better equipment.
