Summer Of Soil Tent 1

Cover2 *Check out Summer of Soil Tent 2 for killer results. This tent was grown with the following method and resulted in inconsistent growth and major pest problems. Soil 1/2 Fox Farms Ocean Forest 1/2 Recipe 420 Soil 1/2 cup Dr Earth All Purpose 4-4-4 3/4 cup Dr Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 The above was mixed in 5 gallon fabric pots. The plants did not get ph'd water and major ph issues started in week 5. The plants became weak and thrips and whiteflys took over the tent starting in early flower. Tent 2 is four feet away and both tents are open at the same time. The thrips and whiteflys visited and never decided to stay. There is zero damage or evidence of pests in Tent 2. Pests do not like healthy plants. The lesson I learned here is to not mix these soils at transplant and to ph the water. Check out Tent 2 to see what a healthy grow looks like.
