As for today I can say that First week went actually well, based on the fact that today the plant looks strong and healthy I didn’t have many problems, just lots of doubts if I was doing it right or wrong. I honestly burn the first 4 seeds I planted, I burned it putting the led to close to the seeds, this time for the first week I simply used a bulb blue led light which really helped the plants
Second week went smooth, plants really looked healthy but I was worried about it’s size cause it wasn’t growing much, again I’m a beginner so didn’t know if I was going in the right way
Again week went smooth. Nothing much beside watering and checking out its progress but for the next weeks I guess there will be a lot to learn.. forgot to say that I was spraying leaves every day with neem oil to prevent most of the insects
Week four was definitely the week when the plants started to really grow bigger, I started some LST at my way cause even if I check thousands of videos I end it up doing what I thought was better for my plants, I perhaps was a bit late so it wasn’t stretching as I thought it would have, maybe I shouldn’t have wait this long, but again first time learning a lots.. I let the plant grow with LST only in week 4 in week 5 I introduced a scrog I made myself cause I thought that I couldn’t keep doing lst because I started too late
Today 23/07/22 We are two days into week 5, never talked about nutrient or water’ problems I had some leaves with few yellow marks but very small one beside that I always saw my plants green and happy, here you can see the scrog I set up yesterday not sure if this will work better but I think will help the branches grow further from the others increasing the light they riceve! I made it myself I will order one for the next grown when I will get my grow box! The watermelon is already flowering but the northern light no so today I started feeding the plants with different preparations.. I kept on giving the grow booster with a bit of bloom booster and viceversa for the watermelon! If you have any tips anything you think I’m doing wrong or you see it’s not ok let me know I don’t grow in a box I grow between the curtains and my window so the environment wasn’t always the perfect one
i usually switch my plant to flowering week 2, 3 or 4 depending strains when they are 20-30cm tall, 4 weeks later when they are done with their stretch they usually reach 60cm to1m25 depending strains and phenotype(s).
Back to lst, my homemade scrog wasn’t too good so I decided to order a professional one for the next grow in the meanwhile I tide them back doing lst
Also now they are really growing bigger and bigger
Again not sure if I’m doing a good job only time will speak
Got a microscope posted a pic and video of how my watermelon is doing with its flowers, the northern light is still not in full flower but its switching
I did a last defoliation on the NL and left the WA flowering! I kept the nutrient as RQS recommends and for now I didn’t not have any problems beside some few yellow marks on some leaves but nothing really noticeable
Plants kept growing devolving buds, I started flashing the water melon yesterday cause I think it will be ready in a few days or a week
The northern light is way behind the watermelon I think probably need two/three weeks more
Being feeding with flower hybrid and flower booster watermelon is very very resinous but didn’t grow a big cola but the northern light is bulging a huge cola
Latest pics I took to my watermelon automatic! I think is a good time to harvest but I really do not dusting transparent from cloudy! It’s my first harvest I’m just looking to someone that helps me understand if really s harvest time🙏
You're almost there but not quite... you want to see some of the trichs turning amber which they will do after they become milky/cloudy. Right now, I'm still seeing a few that are clear so I'm thinking you have about 2 more weeks to go...

I harvested my wm, I put in my bathroom but I need to leave the door a bit open to help air flows cause I don’t really want mould now and I’ve no window.so I also close all the curtains and stuff so there is no light inside but is not completely dark as well ll it affected bud?
There is another closely related plant to weed plants, the Hop plant, light does affect the character of the hops and the beer made with those hops. So you could extrapolate from that, that drying and storing in the dark are probably important for ultimate freshness, ideally away from oxygen too as that can degrade the aroma of hops.
I think will harvest the watermelon this week and start drying it and curing it soon as well northern light which was a free seed and didn’t start its life very well is the one that end it up being the hugest one! Even if it was my first growing I took some risk with the northern light cause I used fim on it as well as huge defoliations and lst
Will update at Harvest time from today I’ll stop feeding the northern night and I will also stop watering the watermelon until it’s time to harvest
Harvested but I cured it too early, I believe I should have let it dry a bit longer, anyway the smell is fantastic and the high is amazing! I guess even tho was my first time I have done something good lol
It's about right for how old it is.
Small plant, big pot, progress may be slow, I like an airier medium, some perlite mixed in and pot up the seedling as it grows, I use when the leaves are wider than pot as a guide to when to. Like 1ltr pot now.
Just saying, many ways and opinions!

@@Foffukuntz, yeah there is many way and opinions, but I end it up doing it the way I thought was better, can’t wait to try my own grow 🤩certainly it’s a great art to learn thanks man
