Glass of water for 24 hours then into damp paper towel. Seed germinated in about 48 hours total. Planted into solo cups with domes and put them in my 2x2x4 to germinate. They all sprouted within 48 hours. Set lights to about 300 ppfd and started humidifier to increase humidity to about 60%. Just giving ph’d water to start then I will start adding a weak solution of Flora Flex V1 and V2. Also will add some Super Seaweed and Roots Excelurator. Light schedule 18/6, temp 80 degrees.
Everyone is looking good one week in. Steady growth, healthy leaves. The Bruce Banner clone is looking so much better, larger than the other plants obviously. Flora Flex regimen has been easy to use. I set up a great feeding station in my shower.
The plants suffered from nutrient burn this past week. Salt build up was frying the leaves so I had to do a major flush. They have recovered nicely but I feel like the Flora Flex No CalMag schedule is too strong for them. My runoff is still at the 1500 level a few days after the flush. I may switch to the regular schedule that has lower amounts of the food. Bruce Banner clone is really taking off and looks super healthy as well as the Alaskan Thunderfuck. Colin OG and Dos Si Dos are much smaller and seem to have been stressed by the salt build up. I went ahead and topped all but the the Bruce Banner as I had done that one before. All are also being low stress trained and leaf tucked. I also made bins with drains to help make the runoff removal a little easier for me.
The plants are all growing nicely and look healthy. I am still having trouble with my PPM runoff being way too high with the Flora Flex. I have started a new dosing schedule to see if that helps. The bins with the drains did not work well, they kept leaking so I just put saucers back underneath them. I will remove the runoff with a shop vac. The Bruce Banner clone is still the biggest of the four and she is very thirsty. The Colin OG and Dos Si Dos are finally starting to get bigger after a slow start. Alaskan Thunderfuck looks amazing. I have been doing quite a bit of defoliating and LST training this week to get them where I want them. So far, even canopies and a lot of new growth. I will give them one more week then I will flip.
Plants all look so happy! They love Floraflex and as long as I keep an eye on the runoff, I can keep them from burning. I have gone down to a lower dosage and that has helped. I got a new clone this past week…Ethos Candy Store so I put that in the tent as well. Probably too much for the space but I am going to flip them next week to keep them smaller. The new drain pans are working so much better, very easy to remove runoff with shop vac. My Alaskan Thunderfuck is showing signs of pre-flower which is odd on the 18/6 schedule? Another reason I am going to flip next week.
I flipped the girls to 12/12 this week and they are starting to stretch. ATF, Candystore and Bruce Banner are flowering. Dos Si Dos and Colin OG are in pre-flower. The plants look so healthy, they love Floraflex. I am doing better at keeping the salt build up under control by using the lower dose schedule. I am going to have to go in and do some massive defoliation soon because the tent is really full and it is hard to water. I also adding Terpinator and Rezin now, curious to see if it has any noticeable effect on the buds.
Still having to do a lot of defoliation on these girls. They just keeping growing so at least they are happy. Everyone is in flower except Colin OG and Dos si Dos. They have been on the 12/12 schedule for two weeks now so I am kind of surprised. No major problems at this point so enjoying that while it lasts. I did put four of the plants on top of plastic bins to get them closer to the light.
Everyone is doing really well. The ATF and Trizzlers are really stretching and developing lots of bud sites. Still no flower on the Colin OG and Dos si Dos but they are getting closer. I am flushing once a week with plain water to keep the salt down.
Still having to defoliate like crazy this week. Everyone is finally in flower, Colin OG was the last to flip. I have noticed I have some crazy mutant leaves on my Barney’s Dos Si Dos. She has 14 leaves! Overall, everyone looks good.
Everyone looks great. I added the Bulky B to the Flora Flex regimen this week and they are adjusting well. The only issue I am having is high humidity in the tent overnight because I have too many plants in there. After a feeding the humidity goes way up. I have been leaving the tent flaps open during the day to improve airflow and lower the humidity.
Plants did well while I was away, my daughter did a great job tending to them for a week. Alaskan Thunderfuck is the farthest along at this point, with The Trizzlers auto close behind. Overall, everyone looks healthy and happy. I am going to do a flush today as the runoff ppm’s are high.
Everyone looks good this week. Ethos Candystore is showing beautiful Fall colors in the fade. Alaskan Thunderfuck is almost ready for harvest, I am starting the flush today - ph water along with Super Seaweed, Rezin, Terpinator, & SLF100. A couple of the plants are showing signs of nutrient deficiency…it may be bad use I did not feed right after I flushed them this past week or it may be because I reduced their nutes with week 6 on the Floraflex schedule. I am going to boost the ones that need it today.
Everyone is doing better this week. I have increased my feeding to everyday, alternating between nutes and ph’d water. That seems to be keeping my salts under better control. Alaskan TF is getting chopped today, the others are about a week behind. Candy store looks amazing with her fall colors. Colin OG smells strongly of lemon.
Everyone is having a nice fade right now. I have stopped all nutrients and am only feeding ph’d water, molasses and Terpinator. I think they will be ready to harvest by the end of the week. I noticed the trichomes re frostier on the lower buds than the higher buds on Candy Store. Light may be too hot or the tent temp may be too hot. Will try reducing.
I started her as a clone and she did really well. I think she had a little heat stress because the trichomes were frostier on some of the lower buds than the ones closest to the light. She was easy to grow and was visually stunning. I can’t wait to see how it smokes.
