After the first fertigation i added my nutrients at 25% strength, following Kootmeds schedule for Jacks 3-2-1. Adjusting the balance of nutrients to my own NPK values since they are different
its more work than i thought mixing the reservoir up and measuring it all out but i hope its worth it in the end. Just gotta get the hang of this science
(just noticed a error in my nutes its supposed to be Hydroponics Europe Masterblend 4-18-38)
After noticing my cotyledon leaves turning yellow quite quick and the tips being yellow I suspected some issues and after checking everything. I Noticed i hadn't properly flushed my Lines causing a PH swing to 6.9 and a PPM of 907 causing these seedlings a ton of stress for around 3 days. Luckily I spotted the yellowing in time and was able to refresh the nutrient solution in time.😰 still feeding 25% strength nutrient solution till 6-8
Week 3 was all about change as the new roots were poking trough the pot eager to explore more i knew it was time to transplant her to the easy feed system where Mimosa gets to explore 5 more gallons of coco.
since I am used to auto's I haven't transplanted before so this was a successful first transplant in my book 😄.
Upped the nutrients to 50% strength and she seems happy with a ppm of 939 at the moment.
End of week 3 Update she's Grown a Ton and after successful topping this has been a great week overall.
a slow week but she has been growing nicely definitely a bushy plant but it seems like with enough training she'll turn in the monster i expect her to be 💪
seeing more improvement everyday. a slight smell that resembles a lemon tart is already hitting the nose as I am defoliating which only excites me for what is going to come.😊
this week we did a heavy defoliation and she is already bouncing back such vigorous growth. not much has happend this week other than the bushy growth and her peeking above the reservoir meaning i can flip soon 😀
this week was exciting she became even bushier after defoliating and has been flipped so I am tucking all this explosive new growth under the net in the hopes of containing her.
an exhausting task i must say 💤
After a week of explosive growth heavy defoliating and exhausting session's of tucking and lst we have finally found our first pistil. the scrog is almost filled for 100% so I'm going to continue whatever i can tuck under until the end of this week and then ill let the plant grow how it wants. 🙌
It was harder to manage a flat canopy than expected so i did what i had promised myself last week and let the plant do its thing once the plant was filled with pistils and so i did from now on all i am doing is defoliating and of course some lst.😌
This week the buds are slowly filling out and are starting to swell the smell of citrus lingers in the air and even with the carbon filter its hard to not notice a slight lemon tart smell in the room around the tent.
The Buds are swollen the smell is insane I've gotten my new camera so the picture quality also went up and i can't wait till its time to harvest these plants because every time i smell them my mouth just starts to water😩
