Grotik99 Cultivation of two varieties: 3x Forbidden Zkittlez X Purple Punch from Purple city Genetics. 6x Gelato 33 x ?? taken from a farm in Gold County CA. in 2019. Germinated. Planted at the end of June in a pot for three weeks. Moved to soil the second week of July in a 160 x 60cm bed, half soil, mixed with coconut and Perlite. The bed has no soil, plenty of room for the roots. This year I started very late, all the plants had a red spider mite issue starting from the second week. Treated, weeks 2 and 4 they responded well and are starting to grow as they should. In the bed that has already been around for 4 years, it has never been used with more than 4 plants, this year due to how late I started, I decided to experiment and put in 8 plants. There is a ninth Gelato 33 that stays in a fabric pot.

Grotik99 Week 6 outside, I haven't started LST yet (this year I'm late on everything :-Z) Cultivation of two strains: 3x Forbidden Zkittlez X Purple Punch from Purple city Genetics. 6x Gelato 33 x ?? taken from a farm in Gold County CA. in 2019. The plants continue to grow at full speed since they went to the ground in week 4, they have practically doubled in size, it is clear that the terrace will not have room to accommodate 8 plants comfortably😬 I plan to start LST by folding all the perimeter ones out of the bed this week😝.

Grotik99 Week 8 (ends) - third with flowering nutrients. Cultivation of two varieties: 3x Forbidden Zkittlez X Purple Punch from Purple city Genetics (feminized). 6x Gelato 33 x ?? taken from a farm in Gold County CA. in 2019 (regular). Sorry, I haven't had time to upload weeks 6 and 7. At the end of week 6 I applied flowering nutrients for the first time. They have almost tripled in size 😳 as expected 😁, the plants are between 185 and 160 cm. I have bent the main trunk with ropes, a couple of times, in all of the perimeter which has caused its side branches to compete to be the main branch 😉. As you can see in the photos, they are healthy although chaotic (expected due to the small space), they all show the first pistils, in addition to having taken out multiple new shoots. At week 6 I started to get some signs of calcium deficiency so I gave them some cal-mag with the nutrients. In week 7 I added supeguanno to the substrate which should already guarantee the supply of calcium until at least week 10/11. I can see the problems I'm going to have in the coming weeks: lack of space (I've been removing leaves and lower branches) and as soon as the flowers start to get fat, it will be necessary to tutor each branch 😬. It will be hard work that I have caused myself by putting extra plants. THOUGHT: when you are late and you don't have time, you tend to want to take shortcuts that are not appropriate and then they will involve much more work.

Grotik99 Week 9 (finals) - third with flowering nutrients. Growing two varieties: 3x Forbidden Zkittlez X Purple Punch from Purple City Genetics (feminized). 6x Gelato 33 x ?? taken from a farm in Gold County CA. in 2019 (regular). The plants keep growing non-stop. I've continued trimming some leaves and bending a bit more of the perimeter ones. The two plants in the center, the super tall one (Forbidden Zkittlez X Purple Punch) is already over two meters tall, the shortest of the unbent ones, a Gelato, is around 185 cm. My feeling is that there are too many plants for such a small space; they are struggling to enter flowering, plus they need a bit more extra light to speed up their maturation. The Gelato that's in the pot is maybe half a step ahead.
